  1. This was such an idiotic decision that he deserves to roast for it. He threw a rookie to the wolves, pushed away a veteran, and possibly lost the locker room in one fell swoop. The dude's a moron.
  2. If they didn't want TT they should have made this move in the preseason. Another inept decision from yet another inept Bills regime.
  3. This sounds like the latest dumb head coaching move in a sea of bad moves over the last 15 years. I think continuity on offense was important, building on what worked was key, and yet we're seemingly throwing it all away and starting over again. And I can't believe anyone is suggesting we bring in Cutler. Are people serious?
  4. Saw this play from another angle. Blount actually does a flying headbutt on Gilmore, which bumps him out of the way. Find another whipping boy. https://twitter.com/YardsPerPass/status/783107646341668864
  5. Bills being top ten in QB pressures this year sort of says that it isn't the case.
  6. Dear lord, they've gotten plenty of pressure this year. I guess you equate pressure with sacks, like ol' Vic there.
  7. You would think that a veteran reporter like Carucci would know that sacks aren't the only way to measure a d-line's effectiveness, yet here we are. It's a new scheme and the players are adjusting to the scheme. And still playing pretty well in the process (with plenty of QB pressure).
  8. Mariota has never faced a defense like ours. Should be interesting.
  9. I think the Jets are really overrated. They've had a cupcake schedule, especially when we're talking opponent's D. I don't see that dream staying alive for long.
  10. On what planet was that an awful pass? My goodness Bills fans are dumb after a loss.
  11. Why do people keep bringing this up? As if all the people who are defending TT are the same people who bashed EJ. It's nonsense.
  12. Of course he still has work to do. But I'm optimistic he will continue to improve.
  13. D-line was fine. Giants passing game was mediocre to say the least. Discipline and penalties were the difference in this game (and tackling - Bradham!!).
  14. Eli tried those quick deep lobs a couple times but the results weren't the same at all.
  15. Which goes back to your point about how few QBs can execute the quick-pass game plan. I wouldn't put Eli in that group based on his performance yesterday. He was pretty much shut down in the second half (Bradham whiff excepted).
  16. Tyrod has shown that he can make big plays with his legs and arm. Which is why the ultra-conservative game plan in the first half yesterday was so frustrating. Once Roman loosened the reins on the passing game, TT started to shine. In many ways he played his best game yesterday but his receivers and dumb penalties let him down. Patience with him? He's the reason for optimism.
  17. I think it's more important to tackle guys who catch the ball. If Bradham makes that tackle it's a whole different ballgame. Eli was fairly mediocre yesterday. This wasn't the same story as the Pats game at all.
  18. I love the TD to Clay last week. Taylor drops back and WAITS for the play to develop. He has all day to throw but how many times have we seen a Bills QB then skip the ball at his receiver's feet, or force the guy to lay out to catch it, or come back to the ball. Nope, he waits, exudes calm - seriously watch the play again, TT is taking a stroll in the park - and then slings it to Clay, hitting him in full stride. It's like he looks like he's fallen asleep out there (from the chest up anyway) and then rifles the ball perfectly to his guy. It's the kind of simple play I see Russell Wilson make all the time and our guys, all too rarely.
  19. I think Whaley has done a tremendous job and I hope he's the Bills GM for a long, long time.
  20. Trent looked competent, and like he might develop into a decent QB, but he never showed any big play potential. Through the first six games, he threw 4 TDs. For the season he threw 11. Fitz was always limited by his athleticism.
  21. I was just about to say that context is probably important here. Wouldn't be surprised if it was said half-jokingly.
  22. Tyrod has been great, no doubt. I do find it curious though that last week he didn't attack the middle of the field at all. I wonder how he'll adjust when defenses take away the outside from him.
  23. Phil Simms and Boomer (Esiason) pick the Bills to win on Inside the NFL. Only Irvin picked the Pats.
  24. I hope Roman makes like he did against the Pats in NE that one time and rolls 'em for 40 points.
  25. I was watching the Mets game on Sunday and Keith Hernandez the Great was talking up our Bills. Gary the Grouch was like yeah well they have to face the Jets twice.
