  1. I do agree that if 13 seconds hadn’t happened last year and the team had instead won the Super Bowl already, this team wouldn’t be where it is today. It brings up butterfly effect for me. Would Beane have approached the off-season differently? Would the players have trained with less of an edge? Would there have been a general feeling of content, in moments where this team has instead found some extra mental and physical stamina? We obviously will never know, but personally I think there’s truth to this idea.
  2. I’ve always questioned this statement. Has this ever been proven to be true? If Team A and better than Team B, why would a third game be any harder than the first two? Also, in this case, Baltimore did beat Cincy early in the season, so even if true, it wouldn’t be applicable here.
  3. Would love it, but how are we going to afford it with current cap situation and other needs?
  4. The Bills got a good one in Beane. Between him, Josh, Diggs, Dorsey, etc…extremely competitive guys in key leadership positions.
  5. To make sure I have it clear, Troy works for the NFL at this point though, not the NFLPA, correct?
  6. Yes, Beane runs a tight ship. But I think he wanted certain people to be called out publicly. And while one could guess it was him or not, folks he’s calling out won’t know for sure, since he stayed anonymous. A reminder of who Brandon Beane is at heart (competitive and hot-headed): https://www.newyorkupstate.com/buffalo-bills/2017/06/betting_on_himself_the_untold_story_of_brandon_beanes_unlikely_rise_to_buffalo_b.html
  7. I actually could totally hear Beane saying a lot of those things. I at least think it’s a Bills official, based on the following quote specifically: "We felt confusion and nonsense more than pressure," the team official said. "They were still discussing things. In our mind there was nothing to be discussed. ... If they would have said, 'If you leave you're forfeiting the game,' we're still leaving." Leaving and forfeiting sounds to me like a Bills official, since they were the road team AND already behind. Plus, they’re the team who just watched one of their teammates get CPR on the field.
  8. Aren’t the FISH considered a bye week too? I kid, I kid….they obviously have the ability to give us a tough game, but hopefully we are on our game and it isn’t close.
  9. Happy about it here. Assuming we win and Cincy, we will get a week’s rest before playing the following Sunday and slightly more rest.
  10. Fair enough Freddie, I misinterpreted your post! LOL
  11. A few differences here: Saturday Giants at Vikings 4:30pm Chargers at Jaguars 8:15pm Sunday Dolphins at Bills 1:00pm Ravens at Bengals 4:25pm Cowboys at Buccaneers 8:20pm Monday Packers/Seahawks at 49ers 8:20pm
  12. After winning the rest of our regular season games following the Minnesota loss, some posters got crow to eat for calling out the OP!
  13. Next 5 games: Week 18: NE @ BUF (we win) WC Round: NE/MIA/PIT/JAX @ BUF DIV Round: CIN, JAX/TEN or LAC @ BUF AFCCG: BUF v KC @ Neutral Site, or JAX/TEN, LAC or BAL @ BUF SB LVII: BUF v NFC winner in Glendale, AZ
  14. Looking like the last two scenarios are going to be ruled out in a little bit.
