  1. Apparently 😎, can’t wait for the halftime show either
  2. The cat playing the piano on YouTube to the Fox football song did it for me 😂😂😂
  3. So are we in the midst of hard times or good times right now?
  4. ^This, combined with a solid OL, they were frequently in position to win games. Gronk was especially a key ingredient for the middle and later stages of their run.
  5. Am I crazy to just say spend the money elsewhere on offense (OL, WR) first? If Allen goes down for any considerable amount of time, is this team a SB contender anyway? Isn’t there less of a chance of Allen getting injured to begin with, if he has a solid OL around him and weapons to throw to?
  6. Linebacker group please? I’m sure your thoughts Edmunds alone will create plenty of discussion 😎
  7. Bates alone costs close to $5M/year. I’m skeptical that we can find two quality interior OL for $3M/year each. I agree that we need to fix the OL, but I don’t think saving money by releasing Morse is the way to do it. Restructuring contracts elsewhere to possibly bring in a decent FA, and then the draft, is how I see it. LT - Dawkins LG - Bates C - Morse RG - FA/Draftee RT - Brown/Draftee Still not a solid starting front, but a successful draft is our best chance of improving this group longer term.
  8. Apparently ANYONE except McD could have coached this team to an undefeated season. And breaking news, Josh is a top 5 QB. There must be some subliminal bashing of Edmunds somewhere in there too 😂.
  9. I would not cut Morse to save cap money, as one will only need to spend more than the savings on another player, and Morse is arguably the strongest performer on the OL. Given Morse’s concussion history, the team does need to think about drafting an eventual replacement. At best I think they’ll be able to afford signing one starting level O-lineman. Otherwise, they’re going to need to build this group up via the draft.
  10. Don’t agree with all the solutions in the OP’s post, but it’s true we’re going to be paying Tre a lot of money next year and even beyond, so the best hope is that he can somewhat return to form. I love Tre, keeping the fingers crossed he can do it!
  11. You’re welcome to see it how you want. I don’t think McD should be the COY amongst the other nominees, but I get why he was nominated. Many have the opinion the Bills faced more adversity than other teams (myself included), yet still finished 13-3, and that’s why he was nominated.
  12. Did every team watch their teammate get resuscitated on the field and need their head coach to lead them through that?
  13. Undecided here. What’s this defense going to look like next year? Poyer and/or Edmunds gone? When will Von be back? Does Tre somewhat return to form? How much do the younger players start to develop? Lots of questions…
  14. Because this team dealt with things that were also outside of expectations, and still finished 13-3. Obviously didn’t win the Super Bowl, but there were other unexpected factors at play too.
  15. I don’t know what more people want Beane to say. They’ve made high dollar commitments to several on the team at this point, including Josh who is no longer on the rookie deal, and there’s a lot of dead money tied to those guys. They need certain guys to step up more, and the same with the marginal FAs and rookies they add this offseason. And he doesn’t seem to have an issue with the coaching staff, considering all the adversity they had to deal with this season while finishing 13-3, and the team just laying an egg at a bad time against another talented team.
  16. Morse was arguably their most valuable lineman this year. You go into the season with at least Dawkins, Morse, Bates & Brown. Bates & Brown will need to put in the work this off-season to retain a starting gig. At best, they’ll be able to afford a marginal FA or two, to compete. But the draft is where they really need to hit on some OL talent.
  17. In reviewing existing deals, I’m not really seeing many release opportunities, outside of a guy or two like McKenzie. Even that only frees up a couple million. Their best chances of freeing up more meaningful cap space is going to be restructures and/or trades. Based on McD and Beane’s comments, I’m thinking Edmunds is the first FA they try to retain. Probably don’t have enough money left to retain Poyer and Singletary, versus looking to the rest of the roster to step up in their place. Beyond any marginal depth they sign in FA, the draft is their path to land any meaningful talent at a reasonable price.
  18. Agree, it’s the same Diggs that was the first one to the hospital to see Damar. He’s just an emotional guy. He expects more from the guys around him, just like us.
