Will Derrick Henry be a Bill in 2024?
strive_for_five_guy replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
You know Beane likes to get his man - Henry going to agree to terms with us today??? -
Tee Higgins Requests Trade

If Cincy traded Higgins and their 1st rd pick, how much could they move up? Would the Giants take that deal? -
TRADE: Mac Jones headed to the Jags
strive_for_five_guy replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
Even though we haven’t won the SB yet, I’ve enjoyed four consecutive division titles. Better than being mediocre every year, at least for me. -
Say the Bills DON’T restructure Josh Allen…
strive_for_five_guy replied to TheyCallMeAndy's topic in The Stadium Wall
Probably. Maybe Beane wants to see what FA commitments he can land in next couple of days, to know how much money he needs to move around with Josh. More efficient to just do that on Wed, than do it now and move more or less around than he needs to. -
TRADE: Mac Jones headed to the Jags
strive_for_five_guy replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
You might want to check again, we didn’t lose to Zach Wilson this past season bc of McDs D, it was Josh’s boneheaded second half that gave the game away. But that aside, as long as the Bills keep winning the division, these teams are going to be second guessing their QB situations and shuffling through one guy after another. Much like we had to do for almost 20 years. -

TRADE: Mac Jones headed to the Jags
strive_for_five_guy replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
Josh has pretty much become the Tom Brady of the division, in that all the other teams are in QB purgatory and going through the revolving door of QBs while trying to catch up with us. Meanwhile, McD’s D can just feast on the young prey. -
Dion Dawkins cryptic tweet UPDATE: EXTENDED PER SCHEFTY
strive_for_five_guy replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
Maybe we’re locking Dion down with a long-term deal, but the thought of Buffalo being his long-term home is depressing to him? 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️ -
WR Diontae Johnson Available for Trade
strive_for_five_guy replied to Warriorspikes51's topic in The Stadium Wall
They prob want to beef up their draft capital and land one of the cheaper, younger WRs in this draft. Essentially like when the Vikes traded up Diggs, and ended up with Justin Jefferson. -
Buffalo Gets 4th round comp pick
strive_for_five_guy replied to The 9 Isles's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yep, and then when the 49ers are good again next year, Brock Purdy will continue to get talked about as league MVP, when he’ll have a stacked roster around himself. -

In other news...Josh Allen rips pants in Paris
strive_for_five_guy replied to SoonerBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Hailee can’t take Josh anywhere! In all seriousness, this would have never happened to Tom Brady in his prime. Tom always made sure to keep his waistline and legs in check, no matter how skinny the jeans. -
I’ve always had a vision of the 90s HOFers all being there when we finally win it all, and celebrating with the current team. Next year in NOLA, party on Bourbon Street?

We need to someone to snap the ball to Josh.

What FA Signings Have Directly Lead to SB Wins?
strive_for_five_guy replied to st pete gogolak's topic in The Stadium Wall
Aside from what LA did, most obvious examples were Manning and Brady going elsewhere in the twilight of their careers. Which further points to this being a QB driven league. I’d say point is don’t break the bank during FA, which the Bills can’t really do this year anyway. -
Great news for all. Hines can focus on his passion for jet skiing now too.

Marquise Goodwin was fast

To me the difference is Dickerson had the advantage of having actually coached the game, AND the chance to be verbally heard. Hence, a lot more credibility than Sullivan and a chance to connect more directly with his audience. Plus, it always felt like the Coach at least wanted to see the team win, whereas with Sullivan, felt like he enjoyed when the team was losing.
