  1. If Beane doesn’t surprise us by landing Henry, would love AJ Dillon on this squad instead.
  2. I’m curious what Michael Thomas’ market is. Don’t think the Bills are going to find too impactful of a WR in FA, but I’d take a flier on him.
  3. Beane right now:
  4. Thing is, to trade for Higgins or Jefferson, Bills are likely giving up their 1st or more, right? And then they have to make the cap work as well, while also paying Diggs a ton at WR too and filling out the rest of the roster. Do you want to give the Bengals another 1st round pick, so they can load up on cheaper, younger WRs, while we try to figure out how to eat the cost of Tee Higgins? And even if we can figure all of that out, are the Bengals going to want Higgins in our hands? At some point, we need to land some stud WRs in the draft ourselves, versus eat the cost of veteran WRs who will already be a step slower than talent right out of college.
  5. Do you have specific WR targets you are hoping they land? Not sure I’m willing to pay any of the FAs, versus draft WRs that are younger, cheaper, faster, and more potential upside.
  6. Sign Justin Simmons, then Derrick Henry or AJ Dillon, and I’m ecstatic. All the moves made so far have been in-house. Beane’s got to have a couple external targets too.
  7. This tweet was even earlier today. Don’t know if the person has anymore street cred than Dick Trickle IV 😎. Maybe it’s already been pointed out, but apparently Simmons played college ball with Milano at BC, then obviously played with Von in Denver too. So overlap w some of the guys on our team. Also 3x Walter Payton nominee, aside from his All-Pro accolades. Might be the kind of veteran stopgap Beane and McD look for, while trying to land a young safety stud in upcoming drafts.
  8. Bills making a move for Simmons?? 👀
  9. BBB likes to save his biggest move of the day for primetime - Something coming 9 pm or later tonight???
  10. DONE 🥳
  11. Good deal for Gabe. Glad we aren’t forking out that much for him.
  12. Now that Dion’s deal in place, time for Beane to get onto other business like DQ…
  13. You know Beane likes to get his man - Henry going to agree to terms with us today???
  14. If Cincy traded Higgins and their 1st rd pick, how much could they move up? Would the Giants take that deal?
  15. Even though we haven’t won the SB yet, I’ve enjoyed four consecutive division titles. Better than being mediocre every year, at least for me.
  16. Probably. Maybe Beane wants to see what FA commitments he can land in next couple of days, to know how much money he needs to move around with Josh. More efficient to just do that on Wed, than do it now and move more or less around than he needs to.
  17. You might want to check again, we didn’t lose to Zach Wilson this past season bc of McDs D, it was Josh’s boneheaded second half that gave the game away. But that aside, as long as the Bills keep winning the division, these teams are going to be second guessing their QB situations and shuffling through one guy after another. Much like we had to do for almost 20 years.
  18. This is where I’m at. Need to start drafting WRs that can eventually be Josh’s WR1. That said, I still think Diggs is at a WR1 level, maybe just not a top 5 guy like the last couple of years. And that could dip to WR2 or less before too long.
  19. Josh has pretty much become the Tom Brady of the division, in that all the other teams are in QB purgatory and going through the revolving door of QBs while trying to catch up with us. Meanwhile, McD’s D can just feast on the young prey.
  20. Maybe we’re locking Dion down with a long-term deal, but the thought of Buffalo being his long-term home is depressing to him? 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️
  21. They prob want to beef up their draft capital and land one of the cheaper, younger WRs in this draft. Essentially like when the Vikes traded up Diggs, and ended up with Justin Jefferson.
  22. If the Bills can get Henry for $4M plus incentives, I do that all day. Guy would be a huge step up from the backup RBs we had last season, probably could be a 50/50 split with Cook when both are healthy. Then draft someone in the late rounds too, to add more youth to the room.
