  1. The Bills just got hammered with the worst possible schedule. Two home games in the first 7 is ridiculous. There may well be other teams stuck with that type of schedule, but it just brutal, not to mention stupid to give a cold weather team very few home games during nice weather. 2-2 is probably the best we can hope for, and I really don't think it is likely. The Texans and Colts aren't that good, but they also won't be looking ahead like the Vikings were, so I really think the Titans are the best hope for a win out of those 4.
  2. The Titanic's rudder was just fine.
  3. This. Even mediocre franchises can avoid years where all the wheels fall off. It takes organizations that are truly inept to put the product on the field that the Bills are this year. It isn't easy not to have a roster full of players when only one of them, McCoy, would start, let alone be a force, for any other team in the league. That takes ineptitude to epic levels.
  4. Why should anyone be upset about the fact that the Bills are as far away from being Super Bowl contenders than at any time since the Harvey Johnson days? Why should they care about the Bills not having any proven talent beyond McCoy and a somewhat decent secondary? Why should anyone be bothered by the fact that 3 wins will likely be considered over-achieving for this assemblage of dreck?
  5. I think you mean an NFL caliber OL. No OC can design plays that work on a regular basis when you don't have a single offensive lineman who would start on another team.
  6. This time next week at a Cleveland McDonalds: Hi, my name is Zane Gonzalez, would you like fries with that Big Mac?
  7. It's just a crappy situation, two QBs with little to no experience at all. That's what bad organizations to, and the Bills have a terrible organization.
  8. Gonzalez is an ASU product, no wonder he's a screw up. As for the Bills, the future looks bright, just like it would look moments before you crash into the Sun.
  9. The assembling of an abysmal OL and the hiring of Frazier appear to the top 2 reasons this team is historically bad. No QB could do anything behind that line, and the personnel on defense seems to be incompatible with the defensive scheme.
  10. Wow, Red Zone just relegated the Bills to Red Zone Purgatory. They won't go back to the game unless the Bills score.
  11. Better use of time to ask how in the name of holy hell did the Bills go from 9-7 to the worst team in franchise history and who is responsible so they can be fired.
  12. The fans in attendance need to rise en masse and walk out at halftime. Anyone criticizing the fanbase and not the "product" being put on the field is delusional.
  13. We have no idea what talent Josh Allen has. A strong arm is nice but if it is inaccurate it is generally useless. He can move around a bit, but again, unless it translates into something it is meaningless. He may eventually prove to be a capable NFL QB, but you can't say he has NFL talent at this point.
  14. When they talked about honoring the process they left out the part where the process was creating the worst team in the NFL. Why can't the Bills hire good people?
  15. I don't care about salary cap issues, there is no excuse for putting together a team this bad. Harvey Johnson will be off the hook as having the worst team in Bills' history. Don't know how the DC still has a job come tomorrow morning.
  16. Peterman may very well suck, but there isn't a QB on the planet who would be consistently successful with this OL. Your offense starts with a decent OL, if you don't have that you're gonna suck no matter who is running the show. You don't need a bunch of All Pros up front, but a bunch of dog meat like the Bills have is a death sentence.
  17. Frankly I don't care who starts at QB, no one will be successful with the dog crap OL and dog crap receivers on the Bills. Tom Effing Brady would look like crap too. It does disturb me that McDermott praises Peterman as a "faith-based young man" as though Peterman's religious views have anything to do with him being an NFL QB. I understand the need to have good character guys on the team, but if a player's religion or lack thereof comes into play when selecting players or determining who starts, then we can look forward to years of suckitude from the Bills under McDermott and Beane. Hell, even an atheist is going to scream JESUS CHRIST when those opposing lineman are barreling down their throats after getting past the porous OL.
  18. You rarely build an OL with castoffs and backups from other teams. You get there from the front end of the draft. It probably doesn't matter if the Bills don't have a deep threat WR because the QB will never have the time to get it to him. Look for tons of 20 yards and under passing attempts and McCoy having to run against 7 in the box all the time.
  19. I really don't have a dog in this fight; I think whomever plays QB is going to have a difficult time because of the OL. I have to laugh though that people seemed pissed at Peterman because he's put up good numbers and hasn't fallen on his face. It's as though he is purposely not screwing up in an effort to deny Allen the job. Just seems a bit weird.
  20. Last time I checked, preseason prognostications don't factor into which teams make the playoffs. If I were forced to guess I think Benoit is likely more right than wrong, but that and $5.00 gets me a mediocre combo at McDonalds. I never understand why people get worked up by pundits' views, power rankings or the like. They actually may have an impact on who makes the NCAA football playoffs or NCAA basketball tourney, but in the NFL they are less important than where Millard Fillmore ate lunch when he resided in Buffalo. Either you win the games or you don't, everything else is simply background noise.
  21. Wallace walked on at Alabama after playing high school ball in Tucson, not exactly a hotbed of football talent (although Blake Martinez is from Tucson). Going from walk on to a starter on scholarship at Alabama shows the ability to learn and grow. My guess is he sticks, although I would also love for deBeer to stick as well.
  22. Silly me, I thought Mason Rudolph was a golfer from the 60's.
  23. Assuming he buys a ticket.
