  1. At least you'll never be proven wrong.
  2. The Ryan Brothers. Bringing crappy football wherever they coach.
  3. The hell with this team
  4. Every time I see Rex's ugly face on the screen I want to throw my shoe at the TV screen. But I don't think the folks at Buffalo Wild Wings would appreciate it.
  5. You couldn't show a better example of the two franchise's karma than those last two fig attempts.
  6. Too bad the Bills never had the chance to draft Gronk
  7. Let's get Brady out of the game.
  8. Players out of position is coaching. Worst thing is the team is disrespecting the throwback uniforms.
  9. I promised myself I'd wait until the end of the season before going off on Ryan again. I'm very very close to breaking that promise.
  10. Didn't get too excited at being 4-2, not too pissed about being 4-3. Just going to let the season play out. It was a bad time to drop a very winnable game given the brutal stretch of games to come. Today's loss likely means Bills have to hope a 7 loss team makes the playoffs. Not the best odds.
  11. Commercials ruin the game on TV and for those attending the game. Nothing worse than seeing the commercial break guy stepping out on the field signaling that play will be halted while Corporate America is pushing beer and boner pills down the throats of the men watching tv. Over-exposure does hurt. There is absolutely no reason to play games on Thursday nights. It is horrible for the players who only get a few days rest from the pounding they took on Sunday, but hey, the bottom line is more important than the players' health. I also think the push for games overseas hurt. How do the fans of the teams that give up home games to play in London benefit? I'll watch RedZone to keep track of the Bills' game, but otherwise I really couldn't care less about the NFL.
  12. I hope to hell I've been wrong about Rex, but time will tell (particularly the next 3 weeks since anything less than 2-1 will be a sign that things really haven't changed). And people suggesting that the Pats using a 3rd string injured QB wasn't a big factor are crazy. A 3rd string QB in and of itself would be a huge disadvantage, but when that 3rd string QB had an injured thumb on his throwing hand? C'mon, look at how bad a healthy TT was in game one. Yeah, the Pats were at home, but under the circumstances a shutout isn't that surprising.
  13. A rookie with an injured thumb. What douchebags.
  14. People ragging on Watkins for not playing with pain are idiots. Sound feet and footwork are essential for a WR to play at his capacity, and the stress placed on the feet at the position is extremely high. Just think how difficult it would be for all of you if you had a butt injury and tried to sit in front of your computers for 10 hours straight. With that said, even if Whaley couldn't have predicted Sammy's injury prone nature, the trade was stupid when it happened and this only exacerbates the damage done.
  15. You get an NFL team that isn't truly horrid with their backs against the wall versus a team that has to travel three time zones and you often get what you saw yesterday. That's why I thought the Bills would win. Consistency is what matters, so let's see what happens Sunday. Also, everyone, including me, may have overestimated the quality of the Cardinals. They lose their first game at home to the Pats w/o Brady or Gronk, beat Tampa Bay, which isn't looking like a world beater, at home and then look like crap against the Bills. Let may have to struggle to make the playoffs, let alone make the Super Bowl. In any event, it would be sweet to go to Foxboro and beat the Pats. Given the Pats' QB situation, there may never be a better time.
  16. What I find ludicrous is the notion that you have to be a Rex fan if you're a Buffalo fan. I very much dislike Rex Ryan. I don't care for braggarts who really have nothing to brag about. I hate the "me me me" kind of guys, and I much prefer guys who win with dignity and class (Marv Levy and Tony Dungy comes to mind). My ideal world would be for the Bills to win the Super Bowl and somehow Rex not get any credit at all and get fired after being caught in bed with a couple of teen age boys and a syphilic donkey. Absent that, I'd take Rex being crowned Coach of the Universe if it meant the Bills won the Super Bowl. It's not like Rex has been winning and people are still carping about him. It's the fact that the team's performance is so far behind Rex's big fat mouth that is pretty hard to digest. So no, John from Hemet, I respectfully submit that no one wants to team to fail just so Rex will fail. They (and I) are just certain that the Bills will fail because Rex is a lousy head coach, and consequently they (and I) are upset.
  17. Methinks you don't know what actually constitutes spamming.
  18. Yes, because Lord knows there is a dearth of "Watkins is underused", Watkins is overrated", "Rodak Sucks", "Sully Sucks", "Rex screwed up the defense", "It's only year 2", "Whaley sucks", "The Pegulas will sort this out", The Pegulas are clueless", "We need a football czar", "McCoy's contract sucks", "McCoy is being mis-used", "Tyrod is a franchise QB", and "Tyrod isn't the answer" threads to name just a few of the oft-repeated topics. If the only threads were really new and unique topics of discussion, and particularly if they were only happy thoughts, the crickets would be covering this place like the plague. Rex's comment made the news, so to speak, and as such I wanted to weigh in on it. It's not my fault Rex constantly keeps reminding people of how much he sucks. Perhaps you should email Rex and implore him to stop sucking. If he were capable of doing so, and actually followed your advice, the "Rex Ryan Sucks" threads would dry up quickly.
  19. I expected him to say something stupid, it's his MO. But if he wasn't an idiot, he could have said a lot of things without jumping to Rob "is doing as good a job as anybody coaching in the league", such as "I think he's a valuable addition to the staff" or "his knowledge of how I like to run the defense is quite an asset." Guys with Rob Ryan's track record are not considered to be doing as good a job as any coach in the NFL.
  20. Let's set aside the more subjective argument that Rob Ryan sucks big time (I think the folks in Dallas and New Orleans might want to weigh in on that). To suggest that Rob Ryan is one of the best coaches in the NFL is so objectively stupid, can there be any doubt that Rex is an idiot? Rob Ryan is the Bestest Coach Ever
  21. Frankly, when you're down to arguing which sucks worse, the offense or the defense, it seems to me it doesn't really matter. The team sucks. Just going to have to let Rex finish digging his grave so the big climb back to the ever elusive playoff spot can commence yet again.
