We have a tie: Doug Flutie TuhROD Taylor Six of one … half dozen of the other … equally pure CRAP.

Slick Rick is probably packing his stuff. He’s about the only left who McDermott hasn’t fired or forced out. #somebodyelsesfault

Should the Bills go all in this off-season?

Well, all in hasn’t been very successful, then. -
Matthew Smiley out as Special Teams coach

Did I miss something? Here is a list of games that we lost because of poor ST play: 1. The End I actually thought we had some nice starting position for the majority of the season. McDermott is what McDermott does … mama said it’s always someone else’s fault. -

Pete will definitely end up losing out by not taking the 7-year deal. I am hopeful that he has a career year/gets his ring in 2025 and the rest of his career is gravy as a DH on one of the Florida teams. I read an article this morning on the Athletic and it made clear that his trend lines are heading in the wrong direction and that he’s too one-dimensional (and old) to command a long-term contract. https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6118091/2025/02/06/pete-alonso-mets-contract-boras/?source=user_shared_article

Ecstatic. Win-win, for sure. F*ck Boras. Ass.hole has hurt the game so much over the years. If Frankie Lindor can skip his annual April-May slump, the Mets will be unstoppable. #LFGM

Wake me up when Reid is gone.
-
Sure it was. My point (which I’m figuring you knew) is that judging a player’s overall game performance on the last meaningful play of the game is generally unwise.
-
Yes. That’s exactly what I meant. Because it’s really smart to judge an entire game based on one play.

Nickelback coach Scott Booker off to New England

This really isn’t too surprising. He never made it as a wiseman. -
I love you. A LOT. ❤️

I’m not negating anything. I’m just not giving him a pass just because he IS usually awesome. He had a “good” game last Sunday. We should expect him to be great in every playoff game. He’s been great in one playoff loss (13 seconds).
-
He has been fantastic. Until he hasn’t been. He folded last Sunday. We all know it and it’s okay to say it out loud. Being awesome 90% of the time is great … unless that other 10% is late on the game during must-score drives. Which is exactly what happened.
-
Cool. More excuses. And he’s a football player. Look at the names on a war memorial … those were warriors.
-
I’ve been pounding the “reasons are different than excuses,” table for years. I’m done. I love Josh and I love that he’s the Bills’ QB. But we lost on Sunday very much due to him not playing well enough when it mattered most. That doesn’t negate the great things he did. It simply underscores how much this team needs him to do great things when great things need to happen.

Excuses. Josh crumbles where Mahomes shines. Regular Season Warriors. We need clutch play from the most important position at the most important times. We got the opposite on Sunday and it’s a big reason for the loss. Stop making excuses.
