This. I live in Newfoundland and we don't get ESPN. At first I missed it, but now when TSN links to ESPN shows, I rarely watch because they generally suck. I get my sports news and entertainment online and my live sports through Sunday ticket, MLB at bat and there's enough college football on the networks so I get plenty of that. And hockey? Faggedaboudit, it's everywhere.

Could the administrators please stop linking to articles in the Buffalo News? I have no intention of paying to read news on the internet. If it ain't free, it's of no use to most of us. I will not pay $3 a month to read sports news and opinions. I can get the same information elsewhere for free. If the News wants us to subscribe to read, then please do not promote that newspaper or those stories. Online content should be paid for with advertising revenues, not subscriptions. Please link to articles that TBD members do not have to pay to read. Thanks.

Ummm been a fan since the very first season. Can't remember ever crying. It's football for crying out loud.

This. It wasn't perfect, but a win is a win. I think for the first regular season game for this team and staff this was a good result. Of course there is always room for improvement, but it's a lot more fun to work on things the week after a win.

I couldn't think of a better way to start the NFL season. I absolutely love watching NE get beat.

Rodak doesn't have a clue. What I have seen so far is the Bills re-tooling the roster to fit the style of play of a new coach. It has nothing to do with "tanking". It's building the roster for this year and beyond to fit a certain style of play. How that works out remains to be seen, but this team is not "tanking" anything. Doesn't fit the profile of our HC. It is in fact a ridiculous notion.

I like what we have. We'll see how it plays out.

Because I've been watching them every year since the team's inception. Why would I stop now? They're my team, always will be. Good or bad, win or lose, I'm a Bills fan. It's part of who I am. Go Bills.

We'll see. Cutler has **** the bed everywhere he's been. I don't see him getting better after coming out of retirement.

They had NE at 14-2 and Miami at 8-8. I stopped listening after that. I don't know how many games this Bills team will win, but I can't see Miami being a better team this year. Cutler will show his true colors. I have the Bills finishing second in the division ahead of both Miami and the Jets. That could mean 8-8, could mean 7-9, but I just don't see either the Jets or Miami finishing ahead of the Bills this season. Again, time will tell how good this Bills team will be, but my gut feeling is they won't be as bad as most of the "experts" have them. Fire away.

That's what I love about this board. It's the unbridled optimism of Bills fans. Those so called experts are almost never right with their pre-season predicitons. Bills fans know a lot more about their team than the talking heads in the media. I say we make the playoffs. And guess what my opinion is worth just as much as theirs because until they play the games, nobody really knows from week to week who will win in the NFL.

So you mean it must be the truth then.

So what exactly are you baffled about? They made some moves to address areas of need and got rid of some guys that were going to get cut. They got value out of every single move. I for one think they have done some really smart things during the pre-season. Looking forward to when the game count for real starting next week.

I'm calling BS on this one. Ratings were down and he was a big reason. They can spin it however they want but it's a fact.

For my money, it's Clay. He' hasn't been healthy and hasn't produced. Other TE's look just as good or better.

We have it for sporting events to show that it is our country and that we honor those that died to give grown men the right to play a children's game and get millions for it.

Well said brother. I spent 23 years in the Army as well and I respect the players right to express themselves. The flip side however is that other people have the absolute right not to like it and not to like the players who do it. Just as the players have rights, so do the fans have a right not to like what they are doing.

Typical ESPN BS. They don't know **** from shineola. I predict this year's team will finish at least 9-7. I looked at the schedule and that is my estimate. I put my analysis right up there with these "experts".

I don't get all of the tank talk. I don't believe for a minute that this team will not do it's best every single week to win. Let's just let them play the games and see where it takes us.

I think that is something that we all share here. We all want the Bills to win each and every week during the season and we root for them to do just that. The record or opponent really make no difference. We always want our team to win.

Peterman is a rookie. Taylor despite his flaws has experience as a starter at the NFL level. It's a no brainer. At this stage in their professional development Taylor is the better option at QB. Peterman may be a decent NFL QB one day, but not now.
