  1. I have no love for Ray Lewis, but I was rooting against Whiff-ner and him alone. He reminded everyone of why we didn't break the bank to keep him.
  2. I own a Byrd jersey. I think he will only improve and it would be best to sign him. That being said, he's no Ed Reed. Sign Levitre.
  3. The most comforting fact is that no teenager knows who they are. I have a feeling they want to be the next Rolling Stones. In that they will tour into their 80s.
  4. Good to know he isn't giving 100%. Wouldn't want him to overexert himself, he could injure his Twitter finger.
  5. He acts as "professional" as the wrestling he watches.
  6. It's because Fitz was supposedly working on his mechanics of under throwing receivers with Guru Pitka
  7. There has got to be a story behind why Nelson is out of the league. I still remember him diving over the pylon in that infamous McKelvin game against the Pats and thinking this guy is good.
  8. Dear Jauron, I miss you. Yours, TheFunPolice
  9. Lets get TO and Owens have the Old and Sassy air attack
  10. No weapon of evidence formed against Ray Lewis will prosper. It's God's will that he avoids questions about murder and PEDs.
  11. I'll say no thanks to a player who chooses upstage his team during Super Bowl week to request his release. Shows all you need to know about his character.
  12. Maybe he can take us to a pair of Super Bowls like the people killer
  13. I pray that it was RW meddling in all those personnel miscues and this year, without his meddling, we will see real growth.
  14. What was ground breaking was that Gailey tried the pistol with an inaccurate and slow QB.
  15. The one where you get stuff for winning the game
  16. Sorry, you can eat all of the #*@! that he's talked about the team and smile at him with corn in your teeth, but I refuse to.
  17. You mean to tell me that these football players--that strap on a helmet before going on the practice field much less the game day field on Sunday--to protect their head, had no idea that they could possibly be hurt playing the game? Or are you saying they knew they'd get broken arms, legs or paralyzed but getting hit in the head was unfathomable?
  18. I'm agnostic, but Ray Lewis sanctimonious and self-serving reference to a higher power made shudder. Unlike Ray Lewis, the practicing Christians I know are humble and modest. They would thank God for their accomplishments, not brag about how God had made their opponents fail because they weren't part of his will. Tebow isn't the better football player, he is a much better spokesman for his religion.
  19. Worth the price? His price changes constantly. He wants to renegotiate his deal ever other year. He wanted to restructure his contract twice in 3 years and he only had a 4 year contract! Would you take him knowing the negotiating skills of our front office?
  20. Hopefully Kyle's work ethic will rub off on the 100 million dollar man
  21. Who cares what a Patriots wife says? If I wanted an effeminate opinion from New England, I'd check Brady's Polly Pocket diary.
  22. Look! A penny!
  23. Queue the "he's a FA and we need a slot WR" thread if there already isn't one.
  24. Unfortunately any greatness associated with NE will always come with an asterisk. Be it the Brady "Tuck" Rule, running up the score, misleading injury reports, not shaking the other coaches hand, or Spygate. Most importantly Spygate. I think that if the NFL had handed down a significant penalty and kept the tapes, the game would have taken a hit but it would have survived. Any regular person would assume that if the evidence had to be destroyed, then it must have been so damning that it was dangerous to leave intact. Either that or the NFL overreacted. And if they overreacted the penalty should have been much harsher than 1 draft pick and 1 benchwarmer's salary. In the end NE got off. The trophies are still theirs. But like steroids in baseball, we can move on but we can't forget it happened. Maybe when BB retires and Brady get shipped off like Bledsoe, a new NE team can try to erase the tarnish of the "dynasty."
  25. Lovie really just wanted to make the NFL seem racist, so he messed up the interviews on purpose.
