I suspect it will right around there. I think the Bills might push the term past 5 years at the cost of more per year if they can so they can take advantage of restructuring rules. I'd say 5 years, $264 million (44 per) with around $200 guaranteed. That would bring the total deal to 7 years, 294 Million, 42 per which feels about right to me and gives the Bills a lot of flexibility over the next two years to restructure his deal to handle salary cap oddities while it gets back to normal.

Blasphemy. These guys have only made the playoffs 3 out 4 years and never even made it to the Superbowl. What crazy mental gymnastics are you performing to convince yourself they should even have jobs in the NFL?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😉

Schein - Nine Make-or-Break players for 2021 (Ed Oliver)
Malazan replied to wppete's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
the whole defense, especially the front 7 sucked last season. Not an excuse for any individual guy, but also there were obvious factors involved that went beyond his own play that affected him. That being said, it's year 3 now. There's no more excuses. You either show you can play at a high level regardless of circumstances around you or you put your house on the market. I do hope the coaches make it easier for him though. -
Bills players you disliked

Any player that I believe embellishes an injury or other circumstance/condition to try to force the franchise's hand. Players who try to hold the organizations feet to the fire with something unscrupulous should be ejected into the bottom of an outhouse. -

State of the Bills Roster 3 weeks into FA
Malazan replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I've said they're doing edge rusher early. Edge and CB are both high paid positions that tend to have disappointing results in free agency. Those are high value positions to draft because of the disparity in return if you 'hit' on a draft pick versus a free agent -

Ah, yes, the Robert Saleh is likely to be the next Parcells who had a history of turning around teams. Those guys are a dim a dozen in the league. Sound reasoning. -

We'll see. I'm not very high on Douglas and Saleh's defense has struggled against top offenses. I wasn't impressed with him brining in next to zero head coaching experience. Not a fan of a 1st time head coach with 1st time coordinators. -

All the draft ammo and they probably take another #3/4 receiver with hamstring problems. The Jets are last in the division for a reason. Miami and NE are both tougher challenges now and in the foreseeable future. -
Wow, that's a LOT to give up for a backup QB who isn't very good.

Completely ignoring that the NFL can actually force a sale under certain conditions...long before it ever got to that point, the Pegulas would sell the team from the pressure of the other owners. Just like they can move your desk to the basement at work and fix the glitch on your paycheck. If you can't figure it out, please remain the running the joke of this board then. -

I'm not claiming *he* will threaten or want to move the team. All indications are that *he* isn't really interested in building a new stadium or doing the major renovations to the existing one, but if *he* doesn't do something then it eventually won't be up to *him*. -

Exactly. My concern with the downtown thing is that what gets talked about is what it would do for downtown, not what it would do for the experience at the stadium. I think there's benefits and detractions to the game experience by being downtown, but they've never seemed like a major concern when a downtown stadium is talked about. There's also that looming question of, is it really that great to have a massive plot of land that doesn't do anything for the vast majority of the year in the middle of a city?
