I'm thinking draft for WR (too expensive in FA due to our cap issue, thanks Miller and Diggs); perhaps a safety in FA, but there are some in the draft. DL hopefully we retain Jones (DT), I'd like Lawson depending on price.

draft appears to have some appealing safeties. Draft WR rd. 1, then safety rd. 2, then WR, OL, DL, etc. Would love to add him, however.

Fair points, but I think K. Shannahan can say that? At this point I'd go after the OC at Balt, Det, or Houston.

I'd only keep Jackson (CB); Jones (DT); Joseph (DT); Johnson (RB), and K. Allen if cheap. Then sign Cuse QB (who plays a bit like Allen) as UDFA, or the draft the Tenn QB late. I would like to keep Floyd, Dodson, Phillips, Lawson, Edwards, Murray and AJ, but likely too expensive as we will have to sign a safety.

na, he's overrated. He is awful outside of Brady. Would rather have Harbaugh (sign stealing is legal in the NFL!). Would also rather have Lions, Ravens, or Houston OC.

same with the HC. Hasn't beaten a 1-4 seed in the playoffs.

also chose Sherfield and Harty over Hopkins. I'd take Hopkins and Floyd over Sherfield and Harty. Floyd vanished toward the end of the year. Along with over drafted AJ and Greg R.

Numerous years we have needed better WRs, and Bean has failed every single time. Harty, Sherfield? You could have gotten Hopkins instead of those 2.

nope. The mediocracy must continue unabated. We have the best QB, and a terrible HC, and that last drive (and the D meltdowns prior in the game) proved it. You don't take 3 deep shots at the endzone like we did and then attempt a long FG like we did with a kicker who both struggled all year and with XPs in this game. Also, if McD did not blow games earlier in the year we would have had the 1 seed, and the "numerous injuries" that people use as an excuse that occurred last game would not have happened.

I blame McD. People can say all they want that he is paid to make that kick. true. But he struggled all year and all game with EPs. The coach must notice this and adapt. McD can't adapt.
