  1. some people live on the “at least it’s not the drought” excuse to excuse failure with a franchise (actually, best in NFL) qb.
  2. the trade for Diggs worked out very well, albeit only for a few years. A guy like Adams is likely to be successful on his new team for the remained of the season at the very least. If you can do it without killing the cap (lower base, bigger bonus, etc) then do it. I'd also be interested in Hopkins, who may cost less in a trade and dollar wise.
  3. agreed. The issue is if this, like Bass, ends up costing the Bills important games. Still time to figure it out, but I hope the staff has a plan if Torrence keeps playing like this.
  4. Offense: Kincaid goes off, and Knox is a contributor. Defense: J. Solomon has 2 sacks.
  5. has Bass seen a sports psychologist? perhaps that helps?
  6. I was shocked at the lack of mobility when watching last week. Like you said, worse than Bledsoe.
  7. if Adams is not working out, Hopkins would be great (good for Coleman to learn from also), so would A. Cooper. Seems there should be a few guys to pick from. But we really need another WR in the stable, top 2 for me are Adams and Hopkins
  8. agree on the DL. Imagine it's why Louge was brought in. Big guy who can occupy blockers.
  9. there has gotta be a way to get Adams here. He clearly wants to play for a winner. He would open the offense up. Huge target a defense has to scheme for, in addition to the other WRs and RBs.
  10. P. Diddy disagrees
  11. good question/point/. I think we feed him the ball. should be easy to get him 7 targets a game.
  12. Knox, Hollins, MVS, and others. for a 2nd, all day. Also puts a no 2/3 CB on Shakir and Coleman
  13. does the Balt game count as one of them
  14. bad angles and slower guys.
  15. same. Torrence seems to have regressed, which is very uncommon for our OL.
  16. we did in the beginning against Balt, then suddenly stopped. Then force fed Coleman, then stopped. This O is perplexing. Hopefully it perplexes Houston on Sun instead of us.
  17. if the Steelers go on a losing streak, wonder if Fitzpatrick is available? A lot of "ifs" there. I'm thinking McD does not say this unless Hyde has some interest in a return. Hyde wants to wait until later in the season, however. I have no clue wtf is going on with Samuel. I thought he would have a down the field deep threat role. Shakir would do the typical slot thing that he is doing very well, Coleman deep balls, TEs in the middle and Kincaid can stretch the seam. it just looks like chaos now, however.
  18. agreed. he is a backup, nothing wrong with that. He is physically limited. Not sure why he is starting. I'd put Bishop or Edwards in there.
  19. I'd go WR. I don't think we need to "spend big" to get a new K. And not sure we have potential trade/FA options out there at LB or DL, but those would be next. big run stuffer, I like it. Seems like a guy who eats space that opens up lanes for others to finish. Could keep some guys off the smaller LBs perhpas? this is a good one. I mean, I'm disappointed at the way this team is playing and the holes it seemingly has given we have a franchise QB (IMO, best QB in NFL). But, I'm glad we don't need to find a QB.
  20. and, I'm not the GM. But rolling out the same staff over and over again that does the same thing over and over again (not prepared, big in game blunders, etc) is insane.
  21. it's always "next year."
  22. https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/bills-week-4-defensive-snap-counts-open-questions-regarding-player-usage/ar-AA1ru129?ocid=entnewsntp&pc=U531&cvid=8bed930f79ec43398c12725c847b898a&ei=8 interesting article on defensive snap counts.
  23. agreed. almost like we should have taken care of this WR problem before KC became desperate, you know, when we didn't have a #1 but had "hope" for a #1. the Coleman issue is perplexing. I figured he'd come out and be a pro-bowler here. How is it he was better in DC!??!?!
  24. 4 AFC Championships? I'm confused, we haven't gotten past the divisional round the last two years. Yeah, with the talent this staff has, the results are unnacceptable. Injuries are a tired excuse, like KC an SF and Balt don't have those, wait, they do. The WR room is "too new", that's surprising, since Kincaid and Knox are both returning players, Samuel is a vet, and they had all preseason and the first 3 games to get it figured out. But let the excuse train continue unabated until Allen retires without a Lombardi.
  25. none of those guys win with this staff. Surrounding cast, prob Brady for sure. The meltdowns at key times (13 seconds) and having teams unprepared to play (Bengals, last night) is an issue.
