  1. exactly. There is a world of difference between being a micromanager and totally hands off. McD, well, we will never know because it's always someone else's fault, even when he starts with "I take the blame", then goes on to state what he wanted instead.
  2. to me Coleman is not the problem, the problem is not getting another WR who can separate like Polk or McCaffrey
  3. worth finding out what the heck happened that led to him not playing. perhaps personal issues with the DC? Guy was a stud a few years ago. If he is a vet min and knows he will have to earn playing time, it may not hurt the depth. that said, if he has any potential to become a distraction, etc., I'd pass. We need to save our "drama space" for getting someone like Adams in here ASAP.
  4. Logic. This is a very good take, and it's rediculous you would not have a counter for the Ds counter. But, as to the bold, well, at least teams with good DLs aren't often encountered in the playoffs.....
  5. good point, but JA used them a lot his rookie or 3rd year just to get hyped as I recall. He prob wanted them to breath easier or something following having a rib nearly cracked
  6. should have doubled up with Polk or McCaffre
  7. interim coach, whatever. Not an excuse. Go beat the Jets. If anything, the guy who is responsible for their great D is now gone.
  8. wow, did not see that coming.
  9. agreed on the adjustments. But the problem is, you can't be spotting a team like McDs defenses do. (and Collins being out was a huge benefit to the D) This won't work against KC, Cincy, Balt. this is an interesting idea. Have a Bills employee watching the game elsewhere, who has a line in and can explain what you are seeing outside the stress of the minute. Almost like having a coordinator in a box who can see the field, but one step removed from even that.
  10. winning the SB. You have a top QB, that is the goal. Enough being happy simply making the playoffs.
  11. I hope he is in Bean's ear about Adams, etc., as well as a top WR next year.
  12. I don't watch a lot of top college football, so here is a list from PFF of top WRs to watch. Anyone on here, feel free to add more: https://www.pff.com/news/draft-10-wide-receivers-to-know-ahead-of-the-2025-nfl-draft
  13. interesting thing from the article is: (1) the Pats are letting him back into the facility today because "they don't know enough yet," and (2) Peppers missed yesterday with an injury, but apparently it wasn't bad enough to prevent assaulting/strangling someone.
  14. glad McD hired him. JA is a QB, not the GM. JA should not be selecting the OC and the top WR in the draft. good thing we have money tied up in JAG players true we could not FA a top WR, but we could have attempted a trade, or traded up in the draft for Nabers, B. Thomas, etc.
  15. making the playoffs is NOT THE GOAL WITH JA. Winning the SB is, and this HC has demonstrated every year, in unique and new fashions to his credit, ways to lose important regular season and then playoff games. or the Bengals Hump. Or gotten a #1 seed, or won in the playoffs and only made 1 AFC Championship game. Is that the technical definition of Mediocrity, no....but it's the commonly-used definition of mediocrity when you have the top (or 2nd) QB in the NFL.
  16. https://abcnews.go.com/Sports/wireStory/patriots-safety-jabrill-peppers-arrested-assault-strangulation-114561604 The Patriot Way. Aside from making fun at the Pats***, Truly awful.
  17. I'd say we can also make the playoffs without McD with JA, so what does he really add besides a few losses a year with rediculous decision making?
  18. It was both (1) a bad throw, but also (2) a poor job of a WR adjusting to a bad throw—which is part of a WR’s job.
  19. no clue. and how about the Cincy hold on the OT FG. yikes.
  20. true, but then what? another early playoff loss and another year of JA wasted
  21. fire mcd instead. enough year over year scapegoating.
  22. the end of the game was a total cluster. you don’t chuck it long 3 times from the end-zone. This kills no clock or TO, opens a possible safety holding call, and fails to move the field position from a punt further. I’m not tipping my hat to the great kicker who we gifted great field position by another McD meltdown. Agree on the OL issues.
  23. the only hope was this was some genius ploy designed to demonstrate why we need better WR’s, but that’s unlikely.
  24. he did get nailed in the ribs, likely knocking the air out of him, which also causes one to “stay down” for a second.
  25. this is the perfect summary of the game today. It’s also why McD needs to go. Zero help, awful game planning and crunch time calls, too much focus on D, and no top WE talent around JA.
