what caused the loathing? -
That's an interesting point. Fitz on Pitt also frees up money, and provides a good vet presence for the backups.

this is really the most interesting part, and there are many interesting parts. Ben is a big crybaby when he doesn't have the OC he wants, who does things the way he wants, even if the results are good. This means that either Ben and Fichtner had a rift, or the Steelers are telling Ben it's no longer "your" team.

Next Season - Potential Coordinators
RyanC883 replied to ngbills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I like Lynn. He seems like a guy who is a netter coordinator than HS. Really smart, detail guy but not a game-day manager. Let him nerd out on offense. this isnt bad. I’d take Dorsey over Hall bit I can see the appeal to promoting within. ai believe the Steelers generally have used this approach for coordinators. Not sure what the Pats** have done -
Should we start receiving the kick off of we win the toss?
RyanC883 replied to Steptide's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
a fair point. Although I like the ability to score at the end of the first half, and then to open the second half. -
I agree we need to get younger. I'm not sure if there is a younger FA available, however. Perhaps Hendrickson from NO, but he's a bit of a one year wonder? If we don't get Hendrickson, I'd grab Kerrigan, and draft an edge. That drafted edge would have a lot of great people to learn from. And Kerrigan is always around the QB.

Our lines need to take this next game personally
RyanC883 replied to John from Riverside's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
main issue for me is we need to both defend the run and TE's. Those have been our weak spots all year, and those are the Raven's strengths. If we play disciplined, I think we get it done. On offense, please no more 3 runs in a row! -
Leslie Frazier interviewing for Texans job
RyanC883 replied to BillsMafi$'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think he he deserves interviews given our D last year and adjustments this year after a bad start. Although last weeks game was bad. I’m not sure I’d hire him based on his past HC record and performance this year with Edmunds and the run D regressing, but he deserves interviews. That said, it’s absurd interviews are allowed during the divisional round. The NfL should not allow any coaching interviews of anyone until after the SB. -

the rule itself is disrespectful. -
this is key. We need to get a lead, and not let up. We let up a bit against Indy, and it almost cost us.

I hope Mayfield never gets a SB ring. Because I want us wining the SB every year!!

John Brown need you to step up going forward
RyanC883 replied to ILBillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I get this point. It depends on how our players are valued, with Brown being in the mix with Milano, etc. At any rate, I don't see us cutting Brown. He'll have trade value. I bet Green Bay would like him. -

a few of our players had uncharacteristically bad games on Sat: Brown, Milano, and Roberts instantly come to mind. everyone has a bad game now and then, hopefully, (and I expect it is) this is it from them! -
is Edmunds good in pass coverage? I have no idea. His run defense is not great. I was surprised by the Colts TE exploitation against us. I would expect to see Poyer more involved in either spying on Lamar and/or covering a TE.
