  1. Agree with this. If there is a travel ban, it's ridiculous to have it exempt the Bills game. Move the game if the ban is a possibility, it's not like the economic benefit of the game will be felt with the ban in place.
  2. so is the clarification for Sunday, or another event somewhere in Detroit?
  3. good points. And you'd think with a massive snowstorm, that the Dome would be a great backup option to still have somewhat of a "home" game atmosphere.
  4. Sirrius XM. You may be able to get a trial to the app version (or a low cost monthly subscription you can later cancel.). Then play the app through the car if you have carplay/androidplay.
  5. how can you find out about travel bans. Is there a NYS website or something. I'm out of state. All I've seen so far is commercial traffic bans. Coming from PGH, so it's 79 north to 90. also, if there are travel bans, do tickets get refunded?
  6. he's only the entire offense because Dorsey refuses to run the ball, and Bean forgets to get capable OL.
  7. yikes. You think at some point they would fix that. The NFL could host a Bills v. Jets or other NFL game there. Likely can't have a reg season NBA game there either, when you could have a Toronto v. Philly game there.
  8. Skydome would suck for those of us who want to drive to the game from like PGH. Sounds like it would be impossible (my kid's passport expired) plus potential road closures. Would prefer Det or Cincy .
  9. which sucks. Wonder why? Capacity?
  10. should have kept the prior coach, whose name I can't recall (the interim coach who, you know, got them to the playoffs in that crazy year)
  11. this is ridiculous. 5 players out sick and they can't have practice? We have lacked fundamentals, throwing INTs in the end zone, etc. But yeah, no need to practice.
  12. we can't win mid-season games, and we can't win close games (worst in NFL last 2 years). we choke every time in all manners: coaching, playing, etc.
  13. Agreed. It's clear that the noise, not the weather, is our biggest home field advantage. Minn burned a ton of TOs due to crowd noise. Dome will amplify that. Hey, can we move the game to the Carrier Dome? (not big enough, so not sure what would happen to excess tickets). How about PSU? or Pitt on Sat night? that's great advance planning!
  14. injuries this year have been awful. Lost M. Thomas, J. Chase. Backups are Palmar and Mooney. Also have K. Murray hurt, and didn't get to replace him in time last week.
  15. Too late to build a dome? feet or inches?? I mean that looks like feet from what you typed. Hoping a typo!
  16. Yikes. That team is having a horror show season
  17. they seem to do better with FAs than draft picks for sure. on DL: Groot was a great pick, but Basham and AJ are underwhelming. Oliver looks like an early 2nd rounder.
  18. but, um, we don’t run.
  19. i feel like this is posted every week.
  20. I said there was no rule against it, and that it requires contact in the NFL. Actually read what I wrote. He had poor positioning and was in phase. Period. He needed to turn his head, and he had a play on the ball. Instead, TD.
  21. faceguarding IS a thing. Required contact (becomes PI above HS). https://blogs.usafootball.com/blog/691/ask-the-official-face-guarding-in-itself-is-illegal-only-within-high-school-rules Jackson was not out if phase. He simply had poor technique.
  22. if it was Daboll v McD, it looks like we chose wrong. competent v. championship caliber are different. we had a hard time getting hc candidates in the drought due to our roster. I’m not saying can McD right now, but another disappointing end to the season may warrant it.
  23. so why did we get gashed in the running game AGAIN in the second half. you are not taught to play the hands. that is a clear way to get a PI at best unless extremely lucky. Turn around, play the ball, and any contact is permitted. What Jackson did was faceguarding.
