CodeMonkey, we all know it's not Goodell's desicion who the next owner of the Bills will be. But if you are so naive as to think He doesn't weild great influence over the owners, who will approve or not approve of all this, then you're very foolish.
The Commissioner says he wants the Bils to stay in Buffalo, but is he talking out of both sides of his mouth?

Someone in the Buffalo Media needs to take this %4#5& to task. make him explain to his fans in Buffalo why a guy from Jersey wants to yank a team from a blue collar city and move them to Toronto. Have him explain why ripping the heart out of all Bills fans is such a good idea to him. I bet the loser doesn't want that kind of publicity.
Why do people care so much about what Mel Kiper thinks? He promised to quit doing this if Jimmy Clausen didn't turn into a great pro. Mel Kiper is a joke. One would think that someone who supposedly spends so much time on grading college talent, that he would be better at this. It almost seems like he decides to do his analysis two weeks before the draft starts.I wouldn't let Mel kiper's opinions sway me one way or the other about what the Bills did in the draft.
No, 1 +1 -1 = 1...they gave up one #1 pick...they gave #9 and got #4.....that means they gave one #1, next years..what is so complicated about this??? So to say they gave up two is incorrect.
You can never have too many threads on one topic. Competition breeds winning. I say, bring in more threads to compete. This way if one of the threads gets injured, there will be one to take it's place and the topic won't miss a beat.
I lost any respect for Kiper's analysis after this assesment of Jimmy Clausen:
-- “I had him as the fourth-best player,” Kiper said in a post-draft conference call. “That’s my rating. That’s my opinion, and I’ll stand by it. We’ll see what happens three years from now.”
Well it's been three years Mel and we have seen..lol
Two Miracles are required for sainthood. The first was keeping the team here for 54 years, the second would be arranging for the team to stay here long after his death.
I've been a Bills fan for 43 years. This team has been a big part of my life. I've cheered, I've cried and I've yelled. I've had some of the best times of my life following ths team. Thank You Mr Wilson. RIP
Just because the Colts might want to extend him now, it might be foolish for Luck to extend now. The closer he gets to tho the final year of the contract, the higher the price tag will be. He will definately get the biggest contract in history.
I think whoever pays him the most will be the team he feels is committed to winning. Also, The ONLY way Byrd signs with the Bills is if no other team offers more than what the Bills did. The Bills have clearly made their best offer. Some team will most likely offer more, so Byrd is as good as gone.
Marrone is the head coach. If a player becomes undisciplined, it's on him. A team, including the assistants are a reflection of him. It's not Schwartz's team, it's Marrone's
Before we make Pettine a god, let's be clear. He wasn't perfect. The run defense needs more than tweeking. Schwartz has a very good track record as defensive coordinator. I am excited that the Bills were actually decisive aand decided to go with a proven guy. This is a big change for this franchise. I like the hire.
I think his ego figures in also. He can't admit the Bills might have had an A becauase he then looks pretty bad. He can't leave it at C- because that would make him look ridiculous..so a B it is..LOL
The comment that seems utterly ridiculous is when Belecheat says it's one of the worst he's seen. Are you kidding me? Has he been watching football for the last 20 years? I wonder how he felt when Spikes clubbed Chandler in the side of the head in one of the dirtiest hits I've seen at The Raplh in a long time. He's such a hypocrite it's almost laughable. What a whiner and a sore loser.
