  1. Welcome dcjoev, way to come out of the gate strong .... I like your thinking. If any of that actually works out, it would all be good, but the odds are long. Nonetheless, thanks for contributing to the conversation.
  2. MLA is for grade school, real reference'ers use Turabian!
  3. My thoughts exactly, when I first read it ...
  4. The Bills will pass on Cam Newton, and in a few years he'll be a super-star, and we'll all say then, "what could-of, should-of," etc.
  5. Interesting, a team this bad has no P1 needs, and only a few P2's? I would say a DT or Linebacker are D1, and RT is a D2, at least.
  6. Really, did you have to do this, there are also about 800 other players you could have named, why stop here .... enough
  7. well, if he's there in the 2nd, how could the Bills pass on him .... but I'm still thinking he's a legit #1 for us?
  8. I would put the franchise tag on Poz, if you don't and he leaves, it's another huge need position. Is he among the best in the league? No. Is he serviceable? Yes. For a team with so many needs, there is no sense in creating another one. And by the way, Harris was a pipe dream anyways; if he ever did become a free agent, there would be a long line of teams vying for his services.
  9. Only draft strategy the Bills need to know: d-lineman of any kind, and linebackers, pick one every round !!!! Only exception, if there is an impact OL after round one, but that would be a big "IF"
  10. And how'd that Free Agent right tackle work out last year? If you get one, he needs to be top tier, otherwise it’s a waste of time and only delays real progress.
  11. Need bigger, stronger, faster, linebackers ... and a true Nose Guard and let Williams, Troupe, Carrington, Edwards, etc., play DT if they stick with the 3-4, or, more interior help and a serious edge rusher if they go back to 4-3. Either way, the biggest need is play-makers on the front 7 of defense
  12. I'm glad we have the coaches and GM we have, and I think there is progress with them; however, as a college coach I will tell you, I'm a much smarter and better coach when I have good players, when I don't, I'm a dip. Players - good players - win games.
  13. would be totally happy with this pick, but Blaine, is he serious ???
  14. Good enough for the Steelers, but not the Bills -- Cornell Green was a significant upgrade over him. That was obvious, what? you didn't see that?
  15. This team needs defense, or more help on the o-line. If there are no worthy defensive players at the number three spot, trade down. A wide receiver in later rounds would be understandable, but not at number three.
  16. I like the first, but if we take a QB in the second, I would like to see the kid from Neveda - more athletic and bigger arm than Locker.
  17. You say: "As for Bowers, I don't know him from Fairley from Dareus - at least not well enough to make judgments - but I'll cross my fingers that the talent evaluators will find the right guy for this team." Yeah, they've done such a good job of it lately?
  18. and why would the Bills be a better situation for him ???
  19. "Myth #4) George Edwards is an NFL caliber DC. Edwards is in way over his head. He's never been an NFL DC." I don't disagree with your point, time to fire him, but we was a DC in Washington a few years ago.
  20. Every draft choice and free agent signing better be on defense!
  21. I just hope he doesn't screw everything up by playing well, and leading the Bills to a lopsided win!
