  1. I'll try hard to over look the insult to cancer victims and little people . . . but you really showed your IQ deficiency when you some how came to the convoluted logic to think that Rob Johnson was a better QB for the Buffalo Bills than Doug Flutie . . . further evidence that there should be a driving text for posting on TBD
  2. Hard for me to put the 2001 draft up there, what did they produce? one, winning season, and certainly no play-offs. Drafts, like teams, are ultimately measure by results, and "results" in the NFL is winning; specifically, winning play-off games. Thus, I will go with the 1985 gang, they may have won more than any Bills group ever--and all those mentioned where big contributors.
  3. Always a good thread when you an get a Woodstock reference in.
  4. Wow, pretty strong judgement against someone you don't know, I really don't get the angst.
  5. No thanks, there are better athletes, even if he is available Two things: 1 - So what you're saying is the ND coaches suck, they had the same time and sure didn't come up with much 2 - Not that I wouldn't like to have him, but not as a number 8 pick, need better at the spot
  6. Well, that's a bonus for us . . . when you can get into the head of a Harvard man and screw him up, it will be amazing to watch what he does with a USC dropout.
  7. I agree with the rest of them, and would add . . . Refused to can Wanny, or at least make him throw a blitz in once in-a-while, after it was painfully obvious that our four man front couldn't generate a pass rush on its own. . . . . TBD'ers: DO NOT FORGET, it was the Defense that ruined this season, not the Offense However, not sure this is a reason to bench someone--at least he was in position to have the opportunity "Refused to bench Wilson, when he dropped game-clinching INTs in back-to-back games"
  8. because he faked his girlfriends death? my number one movie of all time!
  9. Yeah, that Wilson kid is never going to make it. So glad we drafted that WR over him ... what is his name again?
  10. This is indisputably true ... the Bills have let several talented players walk; OR, has it been they just want to go no matter how much the Bills are offering because they want to be on a winning team in healthy organizations????? And I fear that's where Levitre is. He knows there are a number of teams out there looking for top quality lineman (with injuries, and the general lack of quality line play around the league, every team would say they want to improve their line, this is not just a Bills problem), and there are certainly winning teams that will be more than happy to pay him whatever the Bills offer. So, does he think things can turn around in Buffalo, and is he willing to take that chance? Does he go to a proven winner, or stay at a "I hope we win next year" team? If he leaves, don't be surprised, he will be following a long line of solid players that have exited Buffalo for the same reason, its not about money, it's about winning. I hope he doesn't go--we certainly need him, but if he does, who can fault him?
  11. Enough of this already! I've said it before, I'll say it again, I have a hard time finding anything to laugh about a person whom was responsible for the death of over 6 million innocent people--2 million were children. Here's a modern equivalent, replace Hitler with Adam Lanza, or let's say the terrorist who flew planes into the Empire State building, would we find that funny?
  12. Got to love that perspective, I've always preferred a more aggressive approach on Defense, for some reason--was it Galey, Edwards, Wanny, Nix?--the Bills have seemed to play more passive "scheme." But whatever it was, it hasn't worked, time for a change.
  13. You're not serious are you . . . sure, just let your best lineman walk, that's how you build winners
  14. WOW! Exciting! Blown-away! A mediocre coach from a mediocre team, from a crap of a conference. They better get extra personnel in to handle the flood of new season ticket buyers in Orchard Park today! And I'm sure there will be a line of top O & D coordinators falling all over themselves to get on this guys staff.
  15. I surely hope this isn't true ... way to ruin a good nights sleep. The Buffalo Bills, a $#%#$#& gift that just keeps on giving!
  16. There has been a lot of clamoring on this board that the Bills should have drafted him. He is exhibit "B" - right behind Russell Wilson or Colin Kaepernick (you pick your favorite) of another miss draft opportunity. Unfortunately, the facts get in the way. Look at their stats this season, they are almost identical. Except for one thing . . . What Dalton has, that Fitz doesn't have, is a DEFENSE!
