Why I think Marrone should be fired...
CSBill replied to C.Biscuit97's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Mods, please do C.Biscuit a favor and block him from this sight, the Bills and all who don;t agree with him just make him miserable . . . I bet he's a real joy to be around at Christmas as well? Yes CB, we know, Santa Claus is too fat, just because he delivers gifts does mean we should all get excited and be happy. -
Really, the Lions kicker should be given the biggest game ball of all . . . but I won't complain, a win is a win, no apologies for however it happen (just ask the Titans - HR Throwback)

2015 2nd round (or later) QB prospects

yes, it is …. that's what losing scholarships will do to you …. but Hackenberg, he can throw it -
Does anyone still support EJ or Hackett?

Yeah, I would agree, it has been a learning curve for both . . . and one big thing an OC has to do is make it work for what he has. Hopeing for both they can figure it out. -
1st Bills offensive play from scrimmage tomorrow?

Screen pass to Spiller … goes for 22 yards -
A part of me chuckles, but it is unfortunate for him. As for the Bills, I don't think we've really missed him. Even if he did stay healthy, he wasn't worth the money it would have taken to keep him (but, he didn't want to stay anyhow, so the money was't a factor). Hope he heals soon enough, and the for us, we've moved on just fine, "Thank You"!

His play has been inconsistent, and downright stupid at times. He's tough against the run, but can't cover a midget football tight end . . . we now see why BB wasn't a fan of him. Nonetheless, he's our slow and stupid. And this game does not set up well for him, the Lions will be throwing the ball, certainly not his specialty. But, I hope for all of us, he comes up big today. GO BILLS!

Does anyone still support EJ or Hackett?
CSBill replied to NextYearGuys's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I do think EJ can be a good QB in this league. And I think his comments this week were very revealing and informative. As I have watched him, one of the most frustrating things about him is his hesitancy as a player. He never seems sure of himself, never seems to have the confidence to make quick decisions that involved some risk, but can also bring great reward. And it seems to be most obvious when he runs … he never looks like he is willing to take a challenge as a runner, and on many occasions has left 1st downs on the field in the name of playing it safe. Why? Well first, he is by nature a conservative person and as we say, "a people pleaser." He will do what his coaches tell him to do. And all year he has been preached to about not losing games. Don't take chances, don't do stupid things, don't get hurt. So someone with his natural personality whom hears this message day in and day out, the outcome is what we have seen: An occasional big play, and a whole bunch of cautious plays with scant reward. Or, a lot of frustration for those of us watching. Why 2? I blame this on Hackett. And EJ's comments this week confirm that in my my mind. His new attitude, "I'm going to go out there and let it rip," "do what I can do." Why wasn't he doing that already? He was never given permission to do that. No doubt, we don't want him to be reckless and/or to take silly gambles. But you do want a little Brent Favre in your QB. All good ones have that edge to them (i.e. Jim Kelly). It is not natural with EJ, and when he has an Offensive Coordinator sitting on his shoulder (or in his ear piece) constantly telling him what not to do, and, calling plays that reinforce that conservative and cautious mentality and conservatism, well, you get the results we have seen. In the end, I blame this more on Hackett than EJ. -
Worst Bills player. Top 3 listed. Please vote

Stop, he made one bad throw, if not for that he pulls the upset if the year last season .... And by the way, it wasn't his fault the defensive player fell down, at the perfect time. -
Still a stupid plan, Kolb has been a porcelain doll all his life football life . . . what made them think he would last an entire NFL season in Buffalo? . . . was it the fantastic offensive line they had assemble last year, you know, the brave moves to let our starters sign elsewhere and HOPE the revolving door guards would at least get in the way of the defense . . . a stupid plan all along, his departure just came a bit earlier than normal
-
Yeah, that too
-
We will go 3-1, NE, Minn, and the Jets are all games our defense can win with a little help from the O. But, I think the Bills will surprise the world with an upset win in Detroit.

What was your impression of his press conference / interview today? My thoughts: 1 - The verbal slap down on the EJ question was classic! And, in defending his teammate, I bet he earns some huge credibility with all his teammates. 2 - I felt he handled all questions wisely. No dumb responses, but all answered quickly and intelligently. 3 - He showed real professionalism. 4 - He seems sufficiently confident, but not arrogant .... A quality that instills confidence in his teammates. All-in-all, I liked what I heard.

How Has Orton Looked Since He Was Signed?

Indeed, that storyline will be on every Sunday show if he succeeds. -

Well, everyone says EJ is well liked . . . If Orton can throw it on target and not put it in locations where his receivers are constantly in fear of the heads getting knocked off, he will become a locker room hero in no time . . . with or without the bottles of Jack Daniels -
What the Bills need is a professional QB. Orton does not need to carry the load, he just has to distribute the ball wisely and efficiently....something EJ still has not figured out how to do. Let's hope he can.

This! How can you not run in this game? Especially when it was obvious your QB couldn't hit a barn. Has Marrone said anything about the play calling? Did any of the media ask him about it?
-
Boy is that true!
-
Two reasons: 1 - they are way too complicated 2 - that would mean our QB would have to hit a moving target, he can't hit them standing still.
