  1. I would be very happy with this scenario, with either Matthews or Robinson
  2. No worries, The Pats are just trying to keep up with the Bills
  3. Take a lesson kids, this is what happens when you stay up all night drinking, and make posts at 2:00 AM.
  4. A false presupposition = Evans is not a #9 pick
  5. VW a Buffalo Bill = Fantasy Football The Pats will not let him walk, there's a reason they go to the play-offs every year, and, well, we don't
  6. why the gray highlight, I can't read any of it????
  7. Dumb: A) Byrd was not/is not/never was going to resign with the Buffalo Bills . . . And Dumber: B) Byrd was always going to/was never not going to/always planned on . . .
  8. Not a fan of the top two picks . . . I think Moses is not that high . . . any guy from ND is slower and less athletic than you think he should be . . . and concerning Moses, would love him, but some draft people have him going in the late first round, hard to believe he'll be around in the fourth. I'd be happy if the Bills drafted him in the second.
  9. Indeed, there were some people on this board who were pretty harsh on him this year. Remember, he missed a third of the season, and when he did come back, he was basically playing with one arm. And even with that, he was still decent. I expect him to make a big jump next year—as long as he stays healthy.
  10. If one of them is there, I don't see how we can pass on it. This is one of the higher % of instant return for the pick, picks (all 1st round o-line picks). No doubt, any of the three can step in as starter from day one, and be highly productive/successful … hard to promise that at most other positions.
  11. Yes, gives us a better shot . . . call it "backed in" or whatever, its still the play-offs once it starts
  12. YEAH! Maybe we could get that Jason Peters fellow, I heard he's pretty good, and like Buffalo as well.
  13. Bold? Wouldn't that be business as usual? Okay, I'll play . . . Bills trade Stevie Johnson to New England for a 2nd & 4th round draft pick.
  14. Maybe not flashy, but that would be a good draft - in my opinion.
  15. Posted Yesterday, 05:48 PM QCity, on 14 February 2014 - 01:53 PM, said: Any members of the Buffalo media reading this thread? We need some news on Chris Hairston. He missed a year with an "undisclosed" leg injury, which sounds odd. Is this guy rehabbing with plans to be in camp this year? Is he done? I periodically do a search to see if there is any news, but not a peep. - - - - This is, indeed, a most intriguing thing. I'm sure we all hope he comes back. He showed real promise when he did play. I think the Bills thought he was the answer at RT. And, if they think he is going to be back, then don't expect us to take a RT at the 9 spot. If the Bills do take a tackle, that signals Hairston is done, or is very "iffy" to return. But I do hope he does. I'd be okay with any of those picks, but I take exception to your premise. I would rather it said, "you build your team by picking the best football players you can, when you can." Purposely trying to build a good o-line through free-agency is purposely trying to be mediocre at best.
  16. if they're worthy, it's a great pick. But then again, we never know until you pick them, and then let the results show … that goes for any high pick, no matter what position.
  17. I really can't believe there are people on this board saying they would rather have Incognito. SERIOUSLY !?!? That guy is pure cancer to a team, any team! Did you see what he tweeted out the day before the report came out. Showed his true colors. Up to that point, he had said all the right things, but as soon as he was exposed for the self-centered, moron that he is, his true self came flooding out. Come on people, I know all of you are way more intelligent than this clown. Please show it. Jonathan Martin might not be a good fit in Buffalo (although, personally, I would like to see what he could do at a guard spot—to me, I think he has always been more physically suited for that); but, if he can be had cheaply, the risk would be minimal, and the reward would be through the roof. Moreover, I think the character that I have seen from the Bills locker room leaders is pretty high (admittedly, I don't have anything close to an insider view—this is just speculation on my part)—I think, most would not want a RI in there, and if JM proved to be a player whom wanted to work hard and contribute, he would be embraced. But again, put your brains on, protect your own reputation, keep some level of dignity and pride, and don't even think about typing out some lame thing about making the team better with a guy like RI --- he makes no team better, never has, and never will. YES! Character does matter! Thanks Buftex, for restoring my faith in the general decency and intelligence of the folks of TBD sad, very sad
