  1. i would be very happy w foster
  2. but he beat bama in a big game against a pro style defense.
  3. well said. catch 22 for the bills this draft. except for part about te and charles clay. clay doesnt seem like the guy and the bills could use a serious upgrade at this position and hopefully learn how to use him effectively.
  4. 1) will he still be on the board when the bills pick 2) no
  5. Really? Well thanks for pointing that out. Do you really believe that the OP thinks the NFL draft works like an effin video game and that the Bills can trade down with the push of their wireless controller?
  6. steve it depends. i would like to see them get an impact, immediate starter WR in the first round, if one is still on the board and they can trade down for an extra rd 2 pick then go for it, and pick up a QB and a safety in rd 2. but they need an immediate impact receiver or the draft is a failure for helping this season.
  7. Could very well be a good thing for the Bills- most teams seeking QBs will grab them in round (1) so they can exercise the 5th year option - even though (and because) they are all development projects.
  8. Oddly the number of prospects they have visited with is on the low side compared to most other teams FWIW. http://www.walterfootball.com/prospectmeetings/byteam?tih
  9. LOL, Or Las Vegas. "Sin City" is just an unfair, stereotypical exaggeration.
  10. According to Bill Polian he is the most talented QB in the draft. At least Whaley won't be able to deny he needs surgery after he drafts him, unlike last season's Shaq Lawson mishandling.
  11. Absolutely. We cannot pass on him. Unlike Johnny Football, Kelly does not have a substance addiction. Big difference. Their entire team cultures and fan bases witnessed or is acutely aware of the Bills Kelly era. Anyone associated with the league or its teams. Come on man! Four straight super bowls? Is it verified that he has an addiction problem?
  12. The Bills..... The Jets ..... and The Dolphins. I shudder at the thought of Kelly getting selected by those other teams and making a go of it. I just could not imagine how surreal it would be to watch a Bills / Dolphins game and see Chad Kelly shred us. http://walterfootball.com/ProspectMeetings/ByTeam
  13. you're on. the idea that teams want to have the ability to own these project QBs for the fifth year option makes sense for them to all be drafted in the first round. steep price to pay and i surely hope the bills do not waste their no. 10 pick on someone who could ride the bench for a year or two. Whaley already screwed this up last year. I just cannot see them doing that again. A legit no. 2 wideout is critical for the offense to take a step up- even with a healthy watkins.
  14. no way. top 4 QBs are gone in round 1. if the no. 2 is on the roster then this is sad. very sad.
  15. negativity exists in other markets. the press in ny and chicago easily eclipse the buffalo media when it comes to negativity and people bashing. heck, the chicago media trashes mike ditka!
  16. TT started to throw over the middle a lot more in the final few games. I think it's going to happen.
  17. cool topic. want: OJ Howard don't want: DeShaun Watson surprise: DeShaun Watson think: Corey Davis
  18. absolutely. Bills have the worst retention of draft picks in the league (22%). horrendous.
  19. very excited! the games were so broken up i had gotten into a routine of channel surfing or web surfing during the frequent, lengthy breaks. really took away from the enjoyment of the game. the key item goddell mentioned was the "double back" which is just irritating as hail. a set of commercials followed by a brief "check in" with an announcer voiceover and a random stadium shot followed by another set of commercials. way to go roger!
  20. when did marc trestman start writing articles for NFLN?
  21. well said. it will improve the offense in so many ways including TT's numbers. He needs guys that can get separation like top tier athletic receivers.
  22. didn't see that one. however the premise is backed by some additional info and analysis, namely dennison's last offense in denver, the strength of the draft at other bills need positions and the fact that so far our fa signs have not yielded another legit starting wideout.a tandem of legit no.1 receivers who can stretch defenses, get separation from defenders and make clutch possession catches will help all aspects of the bills offense.
  23. • The strength of the class is in the secondary and at running back. So it’s interesting that it might not even be this class’ strongest group. At safety, Ohio State’s Malik Hooker and LSU’s Jamal Adams are both top-10 prospects. As many as five corners (Marshon Lattimore, Quincy Wilson, Teez Tabor, Marlon Humphrey, Sidney Jones) have a shot at going in the top 20. And at both secondardy positions there are other players who have a fighting chance at getting into the first round. If you need a top-shelf defensive back, you can find one in April. • There are numbers at receiver and tight end. Alabama tight end O.J. Howard and Clemson wide receiver Mike Williams both have a chance to be picked in the top half of the first round. One factor that could hold each of them back—the strong numbers at their positions, which might just prompt teams to wait to fill needs at those spots. At tight end, there is the raw freak athlete (David Njoku), more traditional tight ends (Jake Butt), and move-type H-backs (Jordan Leggett, Evan Engram). At receiver, there are polished prospects (Corey Davis) and game-breakers (John Ross). And the supply at both positions should run into the third and fourth rounds.
