  1. I cannot understand where this idea came from and why it has so much support. I challenge his effectiveness as a real-time play caller and am often baffled at the call in critical game situations. He is riding the coat tails of Lesean Mccoy IMHO, and allowing him to run effectively does not take much thought or imagination. How that translates into head coaching qualifications is puzzling. Back up your statement.
  2. they didn't show the replay?
  3. They should have responded with something (attitude, stepped up play, etc.) after the cheap shot happened. Why they didn't is concerning.
  4. he's an upstate NY'er, went to SU, coached in Rochester, plus he took (2) going nowhere teams to the playoffs in his second season with each.
  5. With a healthy team and upgrades at the positions of need, keeping Rex and the system in place is the best chance to make the playoffs next season. Beyond that.......
  6. I look at the state of this year's roster- injuries and a secondary that is too easy for the better teams to exploit- and wonder which is worse- the coaching or the roster. Rex is an average coach but the roster issues this year were more of a problem to the team's success, IMHO.
  7. I didn't want to believe Schefter's report about Shaq Lawson's shoulder needing surgery. I want to believe him that Rex will be let go at the end of the season.
  8. I agree- but I have heard him talk on various radio shows and radio game broadcasts and he still has the pulse of the game and what it takes to win IMHO. I would hope the Bills do due diligence (if he is interested) and not just roll out the red carpet. I wouldn't mind if he were consulted / assisted with the next coaching / GM hire.
  9. More feelers cast by our illustrious former GM. http://chicago.cbslocal.com/2016/12/12/report-bill-polian-expected-to-receive-interest-from-bears-for-front-office-advisory-role/
  10. please- not josh mcdaniels......
  11. this isn't verry funny. two years of reverse progress down the drain!
  12. andy reid as coach last 2 years = playoffs.
  13. How many more wins with a healthy Watkins and Woods all season?
  14. it's not killer instinct they need. it's called being good enough to beat a good team once they wake up and have made adjustments to our game.
  15. agree completely with this. probably the most alarming thing I saw was the absolute lack of hurry up urgency at the 8:00 mark. why were they not instructed to run a hurry up offense? are they not capable of running it? if so, why not? they basically seemed to give up without making a decent effort. piss poor.
  16. man what a solid game!! impressive drives with no answers so far!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  17. the lead singer from Greenday will be his stunt double https://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/M/MV5BMTM0NTg4MDUwN15BMl5BanBnXkFtZTYwOTcyOTU0._V1_UX214_CR0,0,214,317_AL_.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0035626/&h=317&w=214&tbnid=695bPiUzAMWUFM:&vet=1&tbnh=160&tbnw=108&docid=S7Iu2sVUEtKz7M&itg=1&usg=__5u5pf1NThtIq7PZJhichkVThzdk=&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjWxrXj49HQAhVi04MKHVtsD7UQ_B0IIjAB
  18. i don't care how much help the bills need- injuries, upsets, teams choking, etc. as long as they can make it over the playoff line.
  19. I went into this game with a bad feeling because it seems like they always play badly first game after thanksgiving. sure enough, they have lost 4 out of their last 5 games after thanksgiving. i am hoping that they will target justin hunter more often. what a reach. seems like a natural possession receiver.
  20. i hear you but the bills have played much better than today's game.
  21. if they play like they did in seattle they can beat anyone on the remaining schedule
  22. i was absolutely furious that they passed the ball in their final possession as well as the possession before that. especially on the first two downs! the running attack was working like a charm, the bengals d-line was dog tired, our O-line was dominating them, and we were down to zero experienced wide receivers. they should have ran and ran and ran until the bengals proved that they could have stopped them. it would have put the game away a lot sooner. problem with the pass is that you become committed to the pass if you are staring at a third and long. gives the defense the advantage. absolutely no excuse for not running the ball the first (2) downs or the last (2) possessions
  23. It all started with the most recent owner, Tom Ricketts, who bought the Cubs and brought them out from under the Wrigley / Tribune corporate umbrella. Ricketts had a vision for the Cubs that included deals with the city for zoning and construction that allowed him to increase their revenue streams. With that revenue he sought the best of the best for his organization including team manager, general manager, executive VP and of course free agent players. Ricketts took over in 2009 and it took him (7) years to build a champion. As long as the Bills have a proactive owner interested in building a winner there will be hope.
  24. The problem is that Taylor's most glaring weakness is killing the offense. He is woefully inaccurate on short possession passes (most sail high of target) and it stops drives dead in their tracks, gives the ball to the other team, and makes it more difficult to score TDs in the red zone. When your offense is based on the run game, you need to complete the third and short plays. It isn't happening and the team cannot be competitive against playoff caliber teams.
