  1. Well better start circling the wagons. The CBS talking heads all picked Houston straight up, which is no surprise. But 6 out of 8 picked Houston to cover the 10.5 point spread as well. That's just straight up disrespect.
  2. Actually I think you lost that $5. A negative post we be something like the Bills suck, Wanny needs to be fired, Gailey is a disgrace, Mario should give the money back etc. That post was at most, neutral Good to hear that at least one player on the defense has his attitude. Hopefully it will spread to the rest of the team.
  3. I'm sorry, but that's on Mega-I-Need-A-Mind Chan Gailey. You don't put the ball in Fitzpatricks hands in that situation. You hand it off and spike the ball if you have to after. But the last thing you do is have an inaccurate QB try and make that throw on 4th down.
  4. Same for cable and terrestrial. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NFL_on_television#Blackout_policies This page also confirms that NFLN is under the blackout rule, as is Sunday and Monday night football. And wow, I did not know this ... the Cuse getting boned ...
  5. I think what he means is you just try and win until after the 12th or 13th game and before that don't make big changes. Then adjust after the 12th or 13th game? Brilliant. Get to 3-9 or 3-10 then make your adjustments for the now meaningless December games.
  6. Sorry sir. I did not mean to blaspheme.
  7. The NFL blacks out its own network huh. Seems pretty harsh even for King Roger.
  8. Wondering because I just did a flyby on ticketmaster and guesstimate about 3000 tickets left for the Miami Thursday night game. I'm not confident it will sell out at this point unless the Bills pull off a miracle in at least one of the next 2 games.
  9. 1) Cowher again? Anyone who thinks Cowher is giving up his well paid cushy network gig to coach in Buffalo for any amount of money needs to put down any sharp objects and seek counseling immediately. 2) Regarding your last point, sounds good except that Gailey hasn't won anything with or without star players, 3) While true, your tagline (about the 45-3 "romp") has to be one of the most depressing things I have seen here.
  10. Considerably bigger assuming his head isn't firmly planted inside his own ass. The Jets and Pats* games were considerably bigger. And the two games following the Texans game (Pats* and Miami) are both considerably bigger. My statements however make the assumption that he gives a **** about the team and not just his own ego.
  11. I don't know man, they can be pretty creative and come up with just enough to keep the vast majority of true Billievers engaged.
  12. I have heard from others, no personal experience mind you, that one can put lap dances on a tab at certain establishments.
  13. Bills getting 10 points with O/U 47. The Billievers here must be jumping all over that line
  14. Or the DC is horrible, or the scheme is horrible, or the players are just not as talented as was thought. There are many possible reasons for why the defense sucks in such an epic scale. I personally just don't buy motivation being the main problem.
  15. I do not get this mindset at all. They need to be motivated by coaches? How about winning. How about not being a laughing stock. How about pride in your performance. How about making the playoffs. How about a !@#$ing super bowl ring for Christs sake! NFL players needing to be motivated by their coaches is perhaps the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard about professional athletes.
  16. It will be interesting to see what they think about Marios abilities. If they run away from Mario, then I'd say they respect his abilities. If they run right at Mario most of the time, not so much respect. Of course if the Texans run right at Mario and he shuts them down, that's a statement in itself.
  17. Damn that's a lot of lap dances.
  18. So basically the HC has no F'ing idea what they did to his knee, but knows said player is fine.
  19. A couple more losses and it will be the end of the season.
  20. They can market it as "Ultimate Madden".
  21. Damn man you are right. I did not follow my own advice of "follow the money" when it comes to the motive of the NFL!
  22. And don't forget gets hurt more.
  23. We already have Brad Smith. WTF would we want Vick for? Fail! If, for some unknown Gailey-ian reason the Bills want Vick, pick him up after he is cut.
  24. Non issue. Every time a QB is thought to be on the trading block, every team with a ****ty starting QB is going to be "mentioned".
