  1. That would have good comedic value I suppose. The Bills are a laughing stock already. Can you imagine how much more of one they would be putting someone with absolutely no experience in the HC position of an NFL team? If the goal is to have the national media talk about Buffalo, that would certainly get it done. But not in a way any Bills fan should want.
  2. In my mind he is not a #1 caliber WR at the NFL level. Two of the things the Bills need, in my opinion, are a starting QB and a #1 WR.
  3. As always, they would need to find someone better who would take the job.
  4. It's actually $15 now, not $10. And you have to be stupid or a complete rookie to pay that. Last season I paid $15 total for 6 on the Bills sideline, lower bowl. This year was more because we got screwed by the game being against the Stillers. No offense to you and I feel your pain, but ultimately you have no one to blame but yourself.
  5. SJ is not, has never been, and will never be, fast. The only way he sticks on any NFL team is his ability to get open.. Of course he is going to be caught on that play.
  6. Ahhhh well. Much like the Bills motto, there is always next year
  7. You fell just short of the most ridiculous post of all time. Because they weren't crying they don't care? Grow up douche.
  8. Some would say it would be impossible for a team to not make the playoffs and generally suck for 13 years without some kind of undue influence as well. Love em or hate em, the pats* are a very well run and coached organization. And it shows.
  9. Letting teams opt for an automatic point might reduce the opportunities for TV commercials. Can't have that.
  10. I haven't seen any evidence that a declared starter at RB means anything.
  11. Honestly, even if they banned alcohol and the drunken dumbasses stopped going, I'd still prefer watching at home with the commercials and halftime stripped out. There are simply too many advantages to enjoying the game in considerably less time and at the time of my choosing.
  12. This line gets right to the heart of it in my opinion. I believe the vast majority of people that go to sabres games go for the game. Whereas the [vast maybe] majority of people that go to Bills games go for the event.
  13. I see. The problem seems to be associated with many hours of drinking prior to the event. I have very very rarely seen issues at a sabres game for example. And the times that I have seen issues, it was during games like Montreal where some Habs fans had been drinking heavily on the bus ride from Montreal. My one and only time seeing puke on the bathroom floor was during a Habs game. Dealing with dumbasses unfortunately is a fact of life, particularly at a sporting event it seems. But when they are are also hammered it can be unbearable. My choice is to sidestep the entire problem and enjoy the game with my family at home. Besides avoiding the drunken dumbasses, there are many other benefits as pointed out in other threads.
  14. So it's OK because it's an NFL problem and not a Buffalo problem?
  15. I prefer this one. http://www.sportsclubstats.com/NFL/AFC/AFCEast/Buffalo.html It shows that if the Bills go 5-1 they have a 67% chance of making the playoffs. However at 4-2 they fall off a cliff at a 9% chance. With the exception of maybe Jax, none of the remaining games are a lock. But none are a lock for a loss either. I have a hard time seeing 5-1 with the remaining schedule, but they hold their destiny in their own hands.
  16. You forgot blind optimism.
  17. Actually there is a lot wrong with this world. And your post shows that quite nicely.
  18. That's how it is in Buffalo for the kids day preseason game. Wish they were all like that, but it is what it is.
  19. If you watch closely that kind of crap goes on every play unless the receiver breaks into the clear. Was it PI, sure. Is it going to be called frequently on one team and not the other, not normally. And yes, the fairly obvious non-call on the Bills for PI was helpful as well.
  20. He knows that Spiller is a waterbug and not physically built to take a pounding.
  21. It was called very well overall. But is was favorable to the Bills. Those marginal PI calls in the first half for example generally don't get called on anyone. Much less multiple times and all against the same team. It was an ugly win, but a win. And the zebras did their part.
  22. My heart is saying the Bills take this one and the last game against the nyets and split with 2 of the teams in the AFCE this season and use that momentum next year. Unfortunately my brain agrees with the article.
  23. I honestly do not think Gailey wants his waterbug to get that many touches per game. If Gailey runs a lot, I expect to see Choice get more than a couple of them.
