  1. 6 out of 9 on CBS take the Bills. Nice to know the talking heads think the Bills can beat someone.
  2. Doesn't matter I guess. According to the link on the first page:
  3. 2600+ seats available on Sunday on StubHub, and people are getting desperate. A pair in Sec 114 row 5 for $24 each. It's gettin' ugly out there.
  4. It's because most casual fans, which most in attendance are, don't want to be in the Ralph in December. It's not rocket science Russ. Maybe if Russ sat in the 300's for a low 30's rain/snow mix game instead of having waitresses bring him his drinks in his suite he might understand.
  5. For a quality product like the Bills/Jags I would expect people to be flocking to ticketmaster to buy up those tickets!
  6. I didn't notice on TV that the safeties were that far back. Employing the classic prevent (the win) defense.
  7. Yeah how about that jets game. Meaningless game by two inept teams in front of a few thousand people. Blacked out in Buffalo and watched by a few people in the NYC area and nationally on the ticket. Maybe the least watched NFL game of all time.
  8. I thought about this statement for a while and I came to the conclusion that I disagree. To stand by a losing team during things like rebuild years takes character. However, to stand by a perpetual losing franchise in my opinion, and no offense to anyone, in a lot of ways takes a losers mentality.
  9. Are you really suggesting Fitz for Smith straight up? Do you think the niners front office are a bunch of morons or something? Just because the Bills were stupid enough to grossly overpay Fitz doesn't mean the niners are equally as stupid.
  10. If you read the article you would know that he isn't giving up on the Jets, just not going to go dressed up like he has been. Cited the wearing of his Sanchize jersey and getting crap from other Jets fans as the reason.
  11. Gailey letting Fitz call all the plays is a flat out admission that he himself sucks as an OC. You really don't expect to see that do you?
  12. Just checked ticketmaster and there are all kids of tickets left for this as well as the following Sundays games. I can't even imagine what ticketexchange has available. What are the chances of these games selling out? Yeah, my thoughts exactly. So I can either watch the games in real time and suffer through the quality of the crappy internet feed as well as commercials, put in the work to get my dish setup properly to get the network feeds, or skip them both and wait for the Seattle game in Toronto. If Gailey plays Fitz and is just trying to save his wrinkled old ass then I will probably skip the games. If not and he tries TJax or does something else even remotely interesting, it might be worth the effort. UPDATE: More than 3200 tickets available for the Jax game on Stubhub alone. And pretty cheap.
  13. I have 3 kids right in the middle of the 5-20 age range and they are all Bills fans. They watch the games with me, go to literally almost all of the open training camp sessions at SJF, and represent in school even on days like today where it would be easy (and maybe smart) to not wear any Bills gear. But they are not heavily emotionally invested in the team. The Bills have not been in the playoffs in their lifetimes, and they do not know what it feels like to have the Bills not suck and be a laughing stock. In some ways that is probably easier than the ones who saw the superbowl years, they know nothing else but sucking. They, like most Bills fans by now, expect them to lose most weeks. But they are very level headed about it. Because of the way they look at the team, I expect they will be Bills fans for as long as the Bills remain in Buffalo. I truly hope though that their loyalty gets rewarded by at least one good (not sneaking in the backdoor of the playoffs, but actually good) Bills season before the Bills move away. I think they, as well as all kids that have stuck with the team despite having no reason to do so, deserve at least that much.
  14. Unfortunately I can find nothing in that article to disagree with.
  15. I agree, thanks for running this as well. It is a fun distraction from the Bills sucking. I hope you do it, with or without the dinner offer (which I would have declined had I won, as most here would I imagine) next year.
  16. The obvious solution to that is to give him all the first team reps in practice now that the playoffs are out of the picture and see what you have. But Gailey is probably trying to salvage what he can out of this season to try and save his job so he will stick with Fitz.
  17. That would have good comedic value I suppose. The Bills are a laughing stock already. Can you imagine how much more of one they would be putting someone with absolutely no experience in the HC position of an NFL team? If the goal is to have the national media talk about Buffalo, that would certainly get it done. But not in a way any Bills fan should want.
  18. In my mind he is not a #1 caliber WR at the NFL level. Two of the things the Bills need, in my opinion, are a starting QB and a #1 WR.
  19. As always, they would need to find someone better who would take the job.
  20. It's actually $15 now, not $10. And you have to be stupid or a complete rookie to pay that. Last season I paid $15 total for 6 on the Bills sideline, lower bowl. This year was more because we got screwed by the game being against the Stillers. No offense to you and I feel your pain, but ultimately you have no one to blame but yourself.
  21. SJ is not, has never been, and will never be, fast. The only way he sticks on any NFL team is his ability to get open.. Of course he is going to be caught on that play.
  22. Ahhhh well. Much like the Bills motto, there is always next year
  23. You fell just short of the most ridiculous post of all time. Because they weren't crying they don't care? Grow up douche.
  24. Some would say it would be impossible for a team to not make the playoffs and generally suck for 13 years without some kind of undue influence as well. Love em or hate em, the pats* are a very well run and coached organization. And it shows.
  25. Letting teams opt for an automatic point might reduce the opportunities for TV commercials. Can't have that.
