  1. I disagree. There are somewhere in the mid 40,000's season ticket holders who will renew regardless of what the Bills do. Just so long as they are in Buffalo. Plus Mr. Wilson gives up 40% of ticket sales money to the other teams, and gets 40% of the ticket revenue of the away games where the tickets are much more expensive. Plus he has (or at least had) the Toronto series to line his pockets. And the biggest $$$ maker of them all, his share of the TV contract. Ticket sales at the Ralph become more and more irrelevant every year.
  2. And did you see the fumble on the second half kickoff that was overturned in favor of the Bills? Irrefutable evidence? I think not. You can nit pick on every play for every team if you look hard enough. Doesn't amount to anything.
  3. You make it sound like the Bills are a mentally challenged (or is the new politically correct term "differently abled") organization from top to bottom. Well, now that I think about it ...
  4. This is almost surreal. People were foaming at the mouth to get rid of Jauron, and were heralding Gailey as the coup the Bills pulled off hiring the guy that Jerry Jones said was his biggest mistake firing. And now more foaming to fire Gailey with no clue as to who would replace him. Well, with the Cowboys stinking up the joint as well, maybe Jerrah will correct his biggest mistake ever ... ya think?
  5. He absolutely could do worse. If some miracle happens and whoever buys the Bills decides to keep them in this area, they should hire #12 as a PR front man to get the fans fired up and and buy tickets etc. Nothing more than that.
  6. Well, the TV guys said that when they talked to Wanny before the game that Wanny said the key to the game was how well the Bills contained the read option. So Wanny was obviously very aware of it and I would have to assume tried to prepare the defense for it. We all saw the result of that preparation.
  7. For me maybe the worst part of the TV broadcast yesterday was the story they told about how Seattle got Wilson (They were telling lots of stories to try and keep the audience tuned into the massacre). The scout saw Wilson and sold Carroll. Gambling he would fall to their third round pick, which he did, they took him. Makes me sick about how bad the Bills front office has been historically when I hear stories like that about other teams.
  8. Particularly after yesterday huh.
  9. Yeah that was the problem yesterday. The fake punt when they were up by a million points. Not the fact that the Bills sucked ass to such a mind boggling degree that they were in that position in the first place.
  10. I suspect you may have gotten some converts yesterday.
  11. I still believe Gailey will be the HC/OC next season as well.
  12. The Bills now have 3 backup QBs. One of which has never even dressed for a game. Gailey is clueless and Nix is likely senile. Yeah, that makes me upset.
  13. They why !@#$ing sign him in the first place?
  14. Does anyone have an explanation as to why the !@#$ the Bills signed him if they aren't even going to dress him? Why play Fitz anymore this season? Gailey really frustrates me.
  15. I imagine he would restructure his contract if it meant the Bills would give him more money. But less? Is that even a serious question?
  16. ESPN finally has their predictions in ... Seattle across the board.
  17. Baffling how people can say this. You can point to a few positions and say they are better now. But when you look at the overall is the team better question ... 2008 record 7-9 2009 record 6-10 2010 record 4-12 2011 record 6-10 2012 record If they are lucky, 7-9. But probably 6-10 or even 5-11. So no, the Bills are not a better team now than 3 years ago.
  18. Not sure what the fascination with small markets is when it comes to the NFL. And do you really think the NFL is going to enact rule changes to help the small markets? I don't.
  19. Because Bellycheat is the devil and Marcia is his B word.
  20. The only meaningful measure is record. And you answered that question in your post.
  21. Some average and even below avarage teams do get in now. Expanding it to allow more teams makes that situation even worse. Regarding 7-9 teams getting in and 10-6 teams not, that is a completely different situation that I agree should be addressed. But the answer to that is definitely not lowering the bar even lower than it already is to get into the playoffs.
  22. Don't watch any of them.
  23. Not to me. The concept of a .500 team advancing to the post season to me just cheapens the meaning of a post season. The only "win" I see is that the NFL would get to put more ****ty games on TV (more $$$).
  24. More playoff games means more TV revenue.
