  1. Cowher walking away from his nice cushy network gig is something I'd have to see to believe.
  2. An arrogant prick is the anti-Jauron/Gailey. Wouldn't mind a little anti-Jauron/Gailey to be honest.
  3. Maybe the Cards will end up with Chan. Last man standing who will take the job like 3 years ago
  4. To appease the fans that want Kelly. They could say "We tried" maybe? Of course we know that would never work. The cries of "Ralph ... er ... Russ is cheap!" would be deafening.
  5. Of course not. No one else but Buffalo was interested 3 years ago. They failed miserably in Buffalo. One of the teams would have to be incredibly desperate to bother even talking to either one of them. I am a little surprised though that Jerrah isn't talking to Gailey to try and correct his biggest mistake ever
  6. If players on your team cannot keep themselves "interested" as professionals for a 6 month stretch it's time to get some new hungry players.
  7. Skooby running his mouth again! ;0
  8. At least for 3 years
  9. Hmmm I guess I forgot category 4 ... SB before a new coach is even hired!
  10. Exactly. No matter who the Bills end up with you can count on 3 things ... 1) Some people will love him, will be amazed at how such a great coach was ever available in the first place, and start making SB reservations. Just look as posts here back when Gailey was first hired to see plenty of examples. 2) Some people will hate him because he obviously sucks, why else would he come to Buffalo. 3) The majority of people will wait and see what develops because this is not their first time at the Buffalo Bills rodeo. I hope that after so many misses that the Bills get a good coaching staff this time around and we aren't in this same place 3 years from now. But I fall into category 3 above.
  11. Or maybe his Mother raised him right and he is polite. But we will see when we see.
  12. Someone going to a game at the Ralph might end up with the same opinion of Bills fans.
  13. We will see. There are good candidates but also a lot of openings. I'm not sold on Buffalo being much more attractive than last time, but I hope you are right
  14. Actually we do agree They hired Gailey, a guy off of the mainstream radar, because he would take the job. The Bills could find themselves in the same situation this time around.
  15. Much like Chan Gailey heralded as an offensive genius when he signed and up to as recently as the beginning of this season, Ryan Fitzpatrick??? It's all one big crap shoot. They make their best guess and hope it works out. Seems like the Bills have been in that mode forever I know, but there it is.
  16. Sometimes the long shot comes in. But I get the feeling the Bills will wind up either with Lovie, or someone not on the mainstream radar (like Gailey was).
  17. An interesting question. But: 1) I believe the Toronto series was Brandons brainchild in the first place so why would he abandon it. He is not only responsible for the Bills record, but for the bottom line as well. 2) "No say"? It is still Mr. Wilsons pocket book. If Brandon decides to lighten it significantly with a business, not football, decision then I strongly suspect that Mr. Wilson, as the owner, may have some say still
  18. I actually believe Whaley will have the most say in the HC decision. But at the end of the day we don't know what is going on at OBD right now. But I'll tell you one thing I'm pretty certain of .... It is a busy place.
  19. Yes, that exactly. "Prospective coaches are likely at ease that Ralph is not tinkering in day to day operations." " I'd say that development makes Buffalo a much more appealing place to work, and we're certainly looking to do some significant hiring in the near future."
  20. Don't over analyze. Mr. Wilson is old and in failing health. He realized he can no longer do what he was doing with the Bills. He turned over day to day control to someone he trusts and someone who has been part of his organization (and in my opinion probably making most decisions in recent years anyway) for 16 years. Simple as that.
  21. You certainly read a lot more into yesterdays PC than I do. But I sure hope you are right.
  22. Personally I don't give a flying !@#$ if RB inspires hope in anybody, much less the fan base. He can hire an unknown asst for all I care, as long as he is good at his job and the Bills start winning! !@#$ hope and confidence, WIN!
  23. Wouldn't that be nice for a change.
  24. For what it's worth, from the Bills facebook page: "The Buffalo Bills have formally interviewed former Arizona Cardinals head coach Ken Whisenhunt."
  25. .Don't you first hire a HC, have the HC get a OC, THEN get a QB that said HC/OC wants? Why would anyone sign the QB first unless it's the second coming of P. Manning?
