  1. I don't want to punch him. I want him to cry like a little B word on national TV after losing 127-0 to the Bills. Then I want his wife to punch him in the face.
  2. This is the most !@#$ing stupid post I have seen in all my time here .. and that includes crayonz. Congrats.
  3. 3 field goals and 2 safeties
  4. To some I'm sure. But the number of people would be very small compared to the population of the region. I should preface that statement by saying that I am not one who thinks the 8 home games per year provides a significant positive economic impact.
  5. Geez even with the pats* giving 11.5 points, 5 out of 8 CBS talking heads still pick the cheaters. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/features/writers/expert/picks/against-the-spread/10
  6. Can you imagine old school Buddy Nix hiring a radical coach like this?
  7. Why dress Thigpen then? The conditional pick thing does make sense and is probably the reason.
  8. Talk to the good ole boys, they are the ones who signed and are paying for a player that has been a healthy scratch in every game since signing with the Bills.
  9. Actually you are right. No one, outside of the locker room maybe and I'm not even so sure of that, expects them to win this game. So there is no pressure except maybe on Gailey and Wanny to start to show that they belong in the NFL.
  10. I was listening to some hard core Republican talking heads this morning lamenting the election and one had a very interesting point along these lines. He said that historically the Republican candidate got 60% of the white male vote and that was generally enough for victory. Romney also got 60% of the white male vote last night and it was nowhere near enough. His conclusion, and I agree in principle, was that if the Republican party keeps running candidates that appeal only to white male voters that they are destined to lose forever. It is not a while male dominated electorate anymore and the Republican party can either adapt or die.
  11. Very nice. I may have to steal this
  12. Interesting. Gailey has a considerably worse record with the Bills than Jauron did, is no more emotional than Jauron, seems to be infinitely more clueless than Jauron week to week, and as far as clock management goes I'd have to call it a tie because when you get as bad as they both are it's impossible to distinguish. Yet to you Jauron was "the most infuriatingly terrible coach ever". Care to elaborate? Or is it just another of my favorite "intangible, gut feel" things?
  13. I don't believe it was "luck" for one second. It was calculated. They tanked it in spectacular fashion that one season so that they could go from P. Manning number one to P. Manning number 2.
  14. Also, Which player has been the biggest disappointment? Eagles QB Michael Vick, 16 Panthers QB Cam Newton, 15 Bills DE Mario Williams, 12
  15. Because people pay for expensive tickets, parking, food, etc. in order to see an actual game. If one of the teams is trying to lose, and that includes "resting" starters in late season games, the game is a fraud and all monies should be returned to the customers who paid to see it.
  16. I haven't run the math, but can they be after week 11 given the records of the other teams?
  17. Keep predicting a win and eventually you will be right
  18. It's the fans that need weapons.
  19. Not for very long. A bills 3 and out followed by a Texans TD. Houston slept walked (is that the correct past tense for sleep walk??) through the first half.
  20. As it was last time, it is stupid to fire coaches unless you have a better one waiting in the wings and who has agreed to take the job. If you do not do it that way and you fire first and hire later, like the Bills did last time, you end up with Chan Gailey and a worse record than the guys you fired.
  21. Actually Gailey is still aspiring to 7-9. How do you feel now
  22. One reason for this could be that Gailey likes to run Spiller out of the 5 wide set because defenses swap out a LB for a DB in that case and Spiller has a lot more room (one of the reasons for his high YPC). Wade left the LB in and put man coverage on everyone and forcing the Bills to beat them in the air.. Basically Wade called Gaileys bluff. Gailey figured he could not run Spiller effectively with the LB still in, so he went pass happy. Game, set, match, Wade. The big picture question is, do other defenses start doing this the rest of the season as well.
  23. You had that much bet with a 10.5 spread and the Bills lost by 12? You should send Lindell a couple hundred for that short FG miss
  24. No offense, but no how no way do you pin this loss on Fitz. He had one of his fairly rare "on" games. He put the ball where it needed to be despite getting hit nearly every time he threw it. This loss sits squarely on the shoulders of one Chan Gailey with a continued (dis)honorable mention to Wanny.
