  1. Also an indictment of what is wrong with the "everyone is a winner" non competitive uber politically correct country the USA has become in recent years. If a team sucks to the point of not having even one player worthy, why force one to be put on the pro bowl team. I would think said player would find it embarrassing as well.
  2. Ryan Tannehill? When did Buddy pull off that trade?
  3. I firmly believe this was/is Wannys mindset. And he is wholly unprepared for it not to be true, that is to say he has no plan B.
  4. I'd love to say out enjoying the day. But Sandy F'd me.
  5. You my friend spit in the face of all logic. I have to respect that.
  6. The Bills have sucked the entire time all of my kids have been alive. So they have absolutely no reason to think the Bills will beat the Texans. I also do not think it is at all likely. But we all will watch, and hope, on that Sunday like we do every game. After all, you are 305 times more likely to be struck by lightning than you are to win the lotto. Yet some lucky S.O.B. does.
  7. I really don't care about the city of Buffalo at all. I was not born there, never lived there, do not live there now, and cannot imagine a circumstance where I will ever live there. But the Bills are my regional team and that's why I follow them. If they move then I would in all likelihood stop following tackle football altogether. If I recall correctly, and if it hasn't changed, aren't a large number (approaching half) of season ticket holders from Rochester anyway? And FWIW, I have to believe that if the Bills do move, that the city of Buffalo would retain the rights to "Bills" just like Cleveland did with "Browns".
  8. Don't dilute that koolaid powder with water, snort it raw!
  9. Well Gailey has had a hand in holding the O back as well.
  10. For me it's Miami. I would be shocked if the Bills beat either the Texans or Pats* at this point. And if the Bill lose to Miami at home, making them 0-4 in the AFC East, any hope is gone.
  11. Not for me. I record Bills games and my family and I watch the game sans commercials while we are eating dinner. I don't watch any other games (NFL football has become too tedious and slow moving). So bye week for us is a bad thing.
  12. I don't make nearly that much per year, do you? i want bush as well. Not sure what that has to do with football however.
  13. If your premise is true then Wanny is even a worse DC than people here are making him out to be. This past draft and free agency was ALL defense, and Wanny was already on the team for a full season plus PRIOR to the draft and free agency period. If what you are wondering really is true, then he needs to be fired immediately for being 100% incompetent.
  14. Compared to other teams cheerleaders for sure, but not compared to whats on the line now.
  15. Against the pats* maybe. Against the Texans? Hard to see a path to that one unless the Texans are completely ignoring the Bills and are already game planning for the week after that. If WannaBe was their DC perhaps, but Wade ... nah. The basic problem with your logic is that you are equating the Bills to GB.
  16. So this means he will be dominant against the Texans, sweet!
  17. Replace the D line with Jills. At least they are fun to look at and it's not like they will get any fewer sacks.
  18. We have a similar dinner philosophy which is why I like the 1pm starts. Game ends by 4, commercial stripping software does its thing, and we watch the 75-90 minute Bills game while eating dinner. And we have our afternoons free. It works out perfectly.
  19. Oh it is way under 2 hours, particularly if you remove halftime. Clock time is one hour. Even with the time the clock is stopped due to incompletions or runs out of bounds, rarely if ever does it go 90 minutes. If you strip out all of the whitespace and watch just the plays, it apparently distills down to 11 minutes of action on average. http://online.wsj.co...2055561406.html
  20. OL actually hasn't been bad. Gilmore appears to be learning. Leodis and lately Smith are making some decent returns and seem to be one block away from breaking most of them. S. Johnson manages to get himself open. Graham seems to have good deep speed. The DL simply cannot be as bad as they have looked all season. So I would not agree with your statement above. But the overall performance of the team is obviously **** to date.
  21. Last year for example I watched the Bills live (on TV) and recorded a couple other games, generally of Bills future opponents, and watched them with the commercials stripped out (only way those games were tolerable). This year I must admit to recording some Bills games and watching then with commercials stripped out and fast forward thru halftime, and not even recording other games. There is so much wasted time during games anymore it drives me crazy. I suspect I will do this for all remaining Bills games this season. The NFL, to me anyway, is not nearly as entertaining as it once was. If the Bills do leave WNY I doubt I will watch much football at all. And I doubt I will miss it much either.
  22. I fully expect 3-6 at this point. Stealing one of the next two games would be a huge bonus. If they hit 3-7 (losing to Miami at home) is when I would expect the wheels to fall off and the team to enter into yet another extended preseason mode. Lets hope it doesn't get to that.
  23. No. Not at that position. It's not like he has to carry the ball. Players at positions like his have had their entire hands wrapped up and still been productive. Does it help him? No. But I don't see how it explains his total lack of production either.
  24. We will never know if anyone else would have given him the same contract. In fact I suspect Nix knowingly went well over market value to make sure Mario signed with the Bills. I do not recall anyone thinking it was a bad move then.In fact Buddy being a genius was the general consensus as I recall.
