  1. For the life of me I don't understand why people would intentionally paint targets on themselves. But I'm glad it worked out OK for you this time.
  2. The cheerleaders went shoeless today. How the F do they expect me to concentrate on the game with that all around me?
  3. Fixed And congrats!
  4. Getting back to the hotel would be annoying with a shuttle as well. Better off drawing straws for someone being the designated driver and driving to the game.
  5. No, that would be a slap in the face to a QB who was recently replaced. In his mind I suspect Marrone still hopes Manuel will turn into a starting QB and did not want to treat him as a backup by putting him in to handoff a few times.
  6. So the Bills hire Rex as HC, move Marrone to OC and Schwartz as DC. Could be much worse. Add a young starting QB (yeah I know, much easier said than done) and keep ex-porn-stache as vet backup and mentor and they could be on to something there.
  7. The weird thing is, the Bills really didn't capitalize much on the turnovers except for the one given to them on the 1. But it did keep the Jests pinned deep in their own end and the way Geno and doggie-killer were playing that's all it took.
  8. It was ugly. It was fun watching the Jests implode though. Would have been better if it were the Pats*, but still fun to watch.
  9. It really is correct though. The Bills D played well. However the Bills O, given fantastic field position and 6 turnovers, had a pedestrian day overall. Two long catches by Sammy accounted for a great deal of the passing yards. And on the 2nd one the Jests defenders gave up. Meanwhile, the Jests O was historically bad. Geno looked like I would out there But the bottom line is 1-7 versus 5-3 at the midway point!!!
  10. According to Nate Silvers system, you should take the Cowboys. But if you want to save them, the Browns look good as well.
  11. You read way more stuff than I do man
  12. My wife went to the Vikings game and she said for the first time ever she was able to make that left.
  13. From the sounds of it, the thought was not so much beating the Bills saving his job, but losing to the Bills at home sealing his firing The overall tone was clearly that the Bills are pretenders the entire segment.
  14. I agree with everything here. I suspect the people who want this most also think that the Bills and only the Bills get screwed by calls every single game. Unless by "rush" you meant Rush the musical group instead of Rush the blowhard Limbaugh.
  15. A lot if he really said it. My impression is that he means what he says and says what he means. I'm just not sure he would make such a statement before bringing in his consultants.
  16. i heard one good point on ESPN radio yesterday. Everyone on the Jests knows their season is over. But they will view this game as very winnable, and possibly saving Rex's job. So they will come out fired up at home. And if the Bills play like the past 2 weeks it could be a Jests blowout. I still don't see a blowout either way personally. A very low scoring affair unless defenses and/or special teams decide to put points on the board.
  17. If ex-porn-stache had been in the mix preseason I think more might have seen 8-8 or maybe even better.
  18. It could easily be another 1 point stink-fest like last week. Just need to hope the Bills end up with that extra point again.
  19. i was thinking 8-8 splitting with the jests and the fish. Still thinking that way.
  20. Heh, They could pick their favorite US city
  21. That's exactly what it means.
  22. This is exactly what I expect to happen. But now the NFL would be held 100% accountable by fans who do not like the rule instead of being able to hide behind the skirts of the FCC.
  23. I was listening to ESPN talk radio driving home from work yesterday and if you went only by that conversation, you would think the Bills have no chance Sunday. "a 1-6 team currently disguised as a 4-3 team", "the Bills have played very badly the last few weeks and got very lucky to win" and on and on for like 30 minutes. Sounded like to them, the Bills should just forfeit.
  24. Week 8 - Bills @ Jets Loss Week 10 - KC @ Buff Win Week 11 - Bills @ Fish Loss Week 12 - Jets @ Bills Win Week 13 - Browns @ Bills Win Week 14 - Bills @ Denver Loss Week 15 - Packers @ Bills Loss Week 16 - Bills @ Oakland Win Week 17 - Bills at NE* Loss
  25. CBS with spread (NYets - 3.5): 4 each take the Bills and the NYets. CBS straight up: Also 4 each take the Bills and the NYets. The computer takes the Bills. ESPN straight up: 4 and the computer take the Bills, 6 take the NYets and 3 of the lazy !@#$s don't even have their picks in yet (Thursday Morning). Nate Silvers Elo rating system has the Bills as the slight favorite by 51% to 49% and by 0.5 points. Also attached is the Elo simulation of playoff odds for this season. It shows the Bills chances of making the playoffs at 20%.
