Bills-Dolphins, The elimination game ???
CodeMonkey replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Pretty much there already after Sunday really. -
Even Cortana is dissing the Bills now.

I usually wait until the Elo rating is out then post it and CBS, then update ESPN when they get around to it. Should be soon I just thought I'd post about Cortana being such a smart-ass -

No, I have a windows phone and you speak questions/commands to the Cortana (think Siri) program. I said: "Will the Bills win Thursday?" But the speech to text misinterpreted the Will for Well. Cortana figured out what I really meant and answered it. I then screen captured what Cortana displayed. Cortana always put links on the screen related to what was asked. That's what the Sal stuff on the bottom of the screenshot is. That is about the Bills tomorrow against the fish. From the web, Cortana thinks: Buffalo Bills vs. Miami Dolphins — Dolphins win, 55% chance (Dolphins -5) Cortana picked 9 out of 13 in week 10. -
Pegula bought the Bills the keep them in Buffalo. The Sabres under his ownership so far could only dream of getting to .500. This season so far it seems to be the impossible dream. And hockey has been his sport of choice.

The Bills are what they were from the beginning of the season. A roughly 8-8 mediocre, average team. Very good defense, pretty bad offense. Those were my expectations going in. I wish the Sabres were mediocre.

NFL Schedulers need to Be Fired
CodeMonkey replied to John in Jax's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They will do whatever they think will get them the best ratings. Philly with Chip will get people watching. They don't care why people watch, so long as they watch. -
Fumble, really Cortana. After this past weekend that's harsh. The media, even the AI media, hates the Bills.

When do the phantom calls against us stop??
CodeMonkey replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah that shows it as good as anything. Nothing wrong with trying it, but can't really B word about it being called. -

Exactly. The only problem with it, is that they got caught. -

A lot of rules in the NFL are like that for me. I think in this case the guard doesn't get into the 3 point stance until after he taps the center maybe? Not sure. But there are enough rule experts here I'm sure you will get a good answer. -

That movement was done on purpose, twice. Marrone tried to get the offsides, nothing wrong with that. He just got caught is all. -

Be passionate about the players, the coaches, the turnovers, or the teams overall performance. But the bottom line is, Marrone did not call a sneak. He called exactly what happened, the lineman moved ... twice ... in an attempt to get the offsides call on the defense. That works some if not most of the time, it did not this time. No offense intended, but complaining about a call where the Bills were guilty, even if most of the time teams get away with doing exactly the same thing, is not being passionate in my opinion. It is whining. -
[closed]Playoff Scenario-Winning the AFC EAST
CodeMonkey replied to Poeticlaw's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't see the Pats* losing all 3 of those away games. Indy, GB, and SD. The Bills should have 2 "sure thing" wins in the Jests and the Raiders. Which would mean they would have to win 2 of Fish, Browns, Denver, and GB. Doable certainly. But likely? But hey, it is possibly less far fetched than getting a wild card. -

I see the Whaaaaaaaaaambulance is working overtime today -
Duffs. He didn't get that Reid belly by eating healthy after all.

I see your logic, but I disagree. You kick the FG and play to your teams strength, Defense. The D and ST got the Bills to the 25 in the first place. The O is at best average, did not do much the entire game except the first series, and Orton was having a bad game. Bad decision IMO, and going for the TD all 4 plays was flat out stupid.
-
Yeah I lost it just a tad. Mainly from hearing the same tired cliches after every single Sabres and Bills loss. It was refreshing to hear Gionta in the Sabres locker room after the last loss say the effort level the entire game was unacceptable, particularly on home ice and is a big reason why we are a bad team. At least he was speaking from the heart and not the cliche book.

What happens if The Bills lose Thursday?
CodeMonkey replied to first_and_ten's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I expect another close game in Miami. Because it is in Miami, I would not be surprised if the Bills lost. Worst possible time for a short week as well, with both FredEx and Sammy nursing injuries. Based on the Sabres, I don't believe the Pegulas' will make any rash decisions now, or after the season is over. Whaley stays. Unless the wheels fall off completely the remainder of the season so does Marrone. If the Bills finish under .500 again there will need to be a sacrificial lamb, probably Hackett. But I don't expect a lot of upheaval this off season at all. -

The day after a Bills loss often is when the tin foil hats come out in numbers. But doctoring the video is one I have not heard before and gave me a morning giggle, thanks kr632 -

I was wondering when this thread would appear. I know the stadium thought they were all bad calls, my wife and son were there and thought the same thing. But on TV they showed every call you referenced was correct. The Bills lost this game, not the zebras. Deal with it. Exactly. -
All? QB?
