  1. No. What makes it compelling to people is the level of violence and players flying at each other with reckless abandon. If you take the intensity of the violence away from the game there isn't enough left to interest people. You can see it already with the complaining with the current "pussification" of the game.
  2. Even with most analysis like my favorite (http://fivethirtyeig...d-playoff-odds/) giving the Bills about a 3% chance or so of making the playoffs, there are Bills fans here talking about week 17 deciding it Gotta love ya
  3. There are already a lot of Browns fans that live in the area. Families were Browns fans before the Bills existed and carried on. I have no idea how many will be there Sunday. I suppose that would depend upon how many Bills seasons holders put them up for sale.
  4. Lets face it, the Bills are not going to the playoffs this season without divine intervention. But unless the Pegulas hire a consultant that can find a coach better than Marrone who would take the job, Marrone stays. I mean look at it this way, would a promising coach want to go to a team that fired the last guy after 2 seasons, when the team showed considerable improvement, and still did not have a solid starting QB and no 1st round draft pick? Doubtful.
  5. Comments added above. I see nothing here worthy of impeachment above except for clock management which he surely sucks at.
  6. Hard to disagree. I see them most likely at 8-8 when it is all said and done. Beat the Browns (though by no means is it a walkover like the Jets) and the Raiders and lose the others. Average.
  7. No. Show me the money baby. But with all the Browns fans in the area, plus their local fans travel well, I have to believe that it will sell out.
  8. Nate Silvers Elo Rating: Bills win, 59% chance. Elo point spread Bills -2.5 (http://fivethirtyeig...d-playoff-odds/) Chance of making the playoffs: 3% CBS With Spread (Bills -1.5): 6 take the Bills and 2 take the Browns CBS Straight Up: 6 plus the computer take the Bills and 2 take the Browns. (http://www.cbssports.../straight-up/13) ESPN: 11 and the computer take the Bills and 2 take the Browns. (http://espn.go.com/nfl/picks) Microsofts Cortana: Bills win, 56.6% chance (http://www.businessi...week-13-2014-11)
  9. They will, or already have, discussed it in meetings and that will be the end of it. It serves no purpose to discuss it publicly.
  10. Eliminates the purpose of divisions and would make the rule of playing teams twice in your own division every year pointless. So while I see what you mean, no I do not think it is a good idea.
  11. You have the Bills winning 4 of the remaining 5 huh. Losing only to the Pats* in the last game?
  12. And the Bills played the Jets ... twice.
  13. Cleveland is beatable, particularly in Buffalo. Denver suddenly seems like they can be beaten as well if the D line can get to Manning like they got to dog killer last night and Woods and Watkins can both play like Woods did last night. But GB and NE* seem like superbowl contenders lately. The Bills can certainly make it entertaining, let's see if they do.
  14. My kids could do a better job and would do it for dinner at dave & busters.
  15. Good luck with that. No QB, train wreck of a roster, As hard as it is for the Bills to attract a quality coach, it will be that much harder for the Jets right now.
  16. Really? The entire upper deck was empty it seemed. What is the capacity of that place, 100K?
  17. Woods Lions organization
  18. Ahhhhh ..... no they are not. The D can go toe to toe with anyone, but the offense is nowhere near the top tier yet. It was a great all around team effort last night to be sure and one to be proud of. But the Jets are a absolute train wreck this season. And their performance last night was enough to get the entire team, coaching staff, and front office fired. A complete and total embarrassment. As much as the Bills have QB issues, how bout them Jets huh. Wow.
  19. To me since as you stated we do not know if Beckham would have made those plays or not, you cannot draw any direct conclusions other than that Watkins did make them. But fair enough.
  20. So that makes Watkins worth the extra 1st?
  21. That sums up my view very well on the point brought up by the OP.
