  1. I don't know enough about Carr to say, but is there a reason you think he does not have a good head on his shoulders? As to some other comments, the "read option" big strong running QB types that had done well in college are starting to fall out of favor because that does not seem to translate well to the NFL in most cases. In my extremely non-professional opinion, we may well have seen Manuel's NFL ceiling, or close to it.
  2. I am certainly no QB evaluation expert. But I believe Carr managed to start all 15 games so far this season, got two quality wins plus beat the Bills who defensively at least are also a quality team, seemed to get better as the season went on, and was a 2nd round pick (meaning the Raiders got better value). Based on what I have seen so far, I would trade Manuel for Carr in a heartbeat.
  3. If you think Luck is a loser, what is your opinion of Manuel and Orton. Or are you just trolling?
  4. Maybe they were hoping to boost his trade value. If so, epic fail.
  5. I have no problem with Marrone starting Manuel now to give him a little more experience, particularly if they still think Manuel has a chance of being a decent player. But what would be the reason for cutting Orton now? Like it or not (and I don't), Orton may end up being the best choice for the Bills at QB next season as well given the upcoming draft situation and probable free agents.
  6. As bad as this season was for the Raiders, they did manage to come on in the end and beat 2 pretty good teams as well as the Bills. Plus their rookie QB really seems to have a lot of potential. Meanwhile the Bills have no QB and no 1st round pick in the upcoming draft. So does that mean Orton or Cutler next year (assuming Manuel doesn't suddenly amount to something)?
  7. The Bills clearly have "IT". You just forgot the "SH".
  8. They don't need to sell anything. As long as the Bills are in Buffalo they will get support. Plus at 8-8 they actually achieved their best record in several years.
  9. And that is EXACTLY why the playoffs or failure mentality is stupid.
  10. Question is, game changer favoring which team.
  11. If he was smart he wouldn't give any discount. Why should he? He is going to get some good offers and is likely to be gone unless the Bills hang the tag on him.
  12. Yes because they are still anything but experts. Also added Nate Silvers information in original post.

  14. Geez that's some rationalization But it is also not just a length of life, but a quality of life question. You could still live to 85, but be a drooling idiot for the last 30 years. Again, none of that is guaranteed to happen, but the likelihood increases if tackle football is your profession is all.
  15. Nate Silvers Elo Rating: Bills win, 69% chance. (http://fivethirtyeig...d-playoff-odds/) Chance of making the playoffs: 5% CBS With Spread (Bills -5.5): 6 take the Bills and 2 take the Raiders. CBS Straight Up: 7 plus the computer take the Bills and 1 psycho, Prisco, took the Raiders. (http://www.cbssports.../straight-up/16) ESPN: 12 plus the computer take the Bills and another psycho, Schefter this time, took the Raiders. (http://espn.go.com/nfl/picks) Microsofts Cortana: Bills win, 71.6% chance. (http://www.businessi...week-16-2014-12)
  16. Sounds like his concussions (this years and all the others) have already affected his brain.
  17. Which one of you is going to be the backup and when are the Bills going to bring the starter to camp?
  18. As it should be. It's a game after all.
  19. A player thinks a hit he made was legal???? Nahhhhhhhhhh
  20. This plus JF did not do it right in a Buffalo players face.
  21. Looks like he lowered his head and hit Matthews on the chin with it from the replay. Cheap shot if that's what really happened. If not, then yes it was a clean hit.
  22. The Bills DBs did get away with a lot in that game that should have been called, and have been in other games. But what A. Rogers should be pissed about much more were the blatant drops by his receivers, particularly the sure TD right in his hands, and how out of sync he was with the receivers early in the game. The Pack had plenty of opportunities to win that game, and they blew it. Just that simple.
  23. Plus the networks are likely to think that game has a very good chance of being a boring blowout.
