  1. Conservative is not necessarily always a bad thing. You can be conservative and still mix it up and make adjustments at halftime. Just sayin.
  2. Speaking of stoned ... The way the Bills and Sabres have played the past 2 seasons (at least) NY clearly needs to pass the laws for recreational pot use for the sake of Buffalo sports fans if nothing else.
  3. Marrone with Frank Reich as OC. After next season, we will see.
  4. Forget getting stoned ... I think you already are
  5. Now I read that Orton has a toe injury, so Manuel may be starting anyway on Sunday.
  6. The grounding was borderline, but since Orton was under pressure, callable. The PI on Gilmore was a clear cut bad call. But the zebras did not decide that game. The entire Bills organization did (excluding the Pegulas as they are too new), top to bottom.
  7. I'd start Manuel in the two "easy" games, Jests and Raiders, to give him a little more experience anyway. Let Orton play the others.
  8. I was thinking the 12 step program. He obviously shouldn't drink at all.
  9. Updated original post with the ESPN picks.
  10. That game would have been this past Sunday against the Chiefs. The Bills are not in serious contention for the playoffs now.
  11. Kikos underwear...maybe
  12. If you don't care what a bunch of yahoos say then what are you doing here?
  13. You would think right? But it has always been this way. Something to do with the bull **** NFL blackout rules and their designations of primary and secondary markets. Buffalo is obviously primary and Rochester secondary. I just double checked the listings and the game is only on NFL Network here tonight. Plus he barely played Sunday.
  14. Tannehill is not listed on the fish injury report at all so he apparently did not miss any practice time this week. I guess we will see.
  15. Probably tomorrow night during dinner at home. Going out tonight.
  16. According to Nate Silvers Elo rating system, all 3 of the ones you are considering, SF, Cleveland, and Washington all have the same pretty good chance of winning. http://fivethirtyeight.com/datalab/week-11-nfl-elo-ratings-and-playoff-odds/
  17. Nate Silvers Elo Rating: Fish a 67% chance of winning and the Bills 33%. (http://fivethirtyeig...d-playoff-odds/) Chance of making the playoffs: 11%. CBS With Spread (Fish -5.5): 6 take the Bills, 2 take the fish. CBS Straight Up: 4 take the Bills, 4 plus the computer take the fish. (http://www.cbssports.../straight-up/11) ESPN: Wow, 11 and the computer take the fish, and only 2 brave souls take the Bills. (http://espn.go.com/nfl/picks) Cortana: Buffalo Bills vs. Miami Dolphins — Dolphins win, 55% chance (http://www.businessi...week-11-2014-11)
  18. Pretty much there already after Sunday really.
  19. I usually wait until the Elo rating is out then post it and CBS, then update ESPN when they get around to it. Should be soon I just thought I'd post about Cortana being such a smart-ass
  20. No, I have a windows phone and you speak questions/commands to the Cortana (think Siri) program. I said: "Will the Bills win Thursday?" But the speech to text misinterpreted the Will for Well. Cortana figured out what I really meant and answered it. I then screen captured what Cortana displayed. Cortana always put links on the screen related to what was asked. That's what the Sal stuff on the bottom of the screenshot is. That is about the Bills tomorrow against the fish. From the web, Cortana thinks: Buffalo Bills vs. Miami Dolphins — Dolphins win, 55% chance (Dolphins -5) Cortana picked 9 out of 13 in week 10.
  21. Pegula bought the Bills the keep them in Buffalo. The Sabres under his ownership so far could only dream of getting to .500. This season so far it seems to be the impossible dream. And hockey has been his sport of choice.
  22. The Bills are what they were from the beginning of the season. A roughly 8-8 mediocre, average team. Very good defense, pretty bad offense. Those were my expectations going in. I wish the Sabres were mediocre.
  23. They will do whatever they think will get them the best ratings. Philly with Chip will get people watching. They don't care why people watch, so long as they watch.
  24. Fumble, really Cortana. After this past weekend that's harsh. The media, even the AI media, hates the Bills.
  25. Yup then let Manuel get some more experience. He has watched long enough to have hopefully learned something.
