  1. I imagine they made all the cuts awhile ago. We're just waiting for word.
  2. Page 37 or 38 of this thread I think
  3. Murphy was cut before McCoy, I believe.
  4. I thought they started with 87? 31 would bring them to 56 players...I'm probably missing something.
  5. I think it comes down to speed. Hope he has enough of it!
  6. Yup *taps nose*
  7. I'd have kept another db.
  8. Pissed about Lafayette Pitts.
  9. I'm against this insofar as what Beane has been saying all off-season and trust between the front office and the locker room.
  10. I actually thought his most informative comment was when he noted that they want OLinemen who can play multiple spots on the line. Teller didn't have positional flexibility.
  11. Give the EPL a watch, if you can tolerate soccer. It's a huge difference. Whether or not you prefer it is of course your call.
  12. It's what they're saying and the demeanor with which they're saying it and interacting with one another. There is a stark difference with our style of commentary, regardless of accent.
  13. I guess I was more reacting to TV coverage. NFL commentators and coverage is abysmal, and his descriptions of that style were dead on. Commentators in the EPL are fantastic, behave like adults, and generally add to the TV experience. In MLS you sometimes have this type of coverage, and other times have coverage based on the American model. The difference is staggering.
  14. Just win. That's all it takes.
  15. I actually agree with a ton of what he said. Especially when the EPL comparison begins.
  16. You had to include a picture huh? Nice gut punch on a Wednesday.
  17. I'm always nervous about Bills games. Sure wish that wasn't the case.
  18. Bojo is awful though. Hopefully we bring in someone with experience.
  19. I had it and it effing SUCKED. Affected me for almost 2 full years.
  20. I really hope he specializes neck-beard shaped buildings.
  21. Would be awesome if he started an architectural firm.
  22. I think my original comment has been misinterpreted a bit, although it's probably because I articulated it poorly at 130am. At the time, the thought of Andrew Luck headed out the door for a regular job was amusing. That's really it. Luck undoubtedly would never actually join the typical labor force, doesn't need to, and has experience that makes a different path more obvious and more relevant. As far as my "worker's mentality," I dunno. Maybe? It assumes a superiority of entrepreneurship that opens up another can of worms. What I do know is that I am fortunate enough to have better academic credentials than Luck, run my own laboratory, and do not have 60 mil lol.
  23. I don't disagree. However, that would be - at best - only partially due to his academic accomplishments.
