    I was there in 70-71. I followed the Bills with my subscription to Pro Football Weekly. Some weeks I actually got it. Many times it was appropriated by someone in the mail chain.

    Grilled capicola & provolone on good Italian bread. Used to get the at DuBois downtown on Niagara St. between city hall and the Rath building. Been making them at home for decades.

    Chris Speilman. A short time with the Bills, but a tough throw back line backer, who walked away from the game to provide care for his wife when she was diagnosed with cancer. As someone who lost a mother, father and wife to cancer, I couldn’t help but admire the man, as much as the player.

    It’s not “fast food”, but why oh why did Swiss Chalet pull out of the US. I hear they plan to open one in Ft. Erie, so my drive for Swiss fix will be shortened, not having to go to Niagara Falls, Ont anymore. Love dunking those fries in the chalet sauce.

    Ronnie Harmon. The Bickering Bills ceased being the Bickering Bills after he left. Coincidence? I think not. There were rumors that he was splitting the team along racial lines. One story had him passing a football around for players to sign, but not Andre Reed, because he was mixed race. The drop in the end zone vs. the Browns only adds to the venom.

    Brandon Beane, methodically stacking the legos into a winning team, one offseason away from greatness. just about everyone mentioned for a game ball, was a Beane acquisition.

    I don’t think it’s a sure thing that Jerry Hughes will be on the team next year, for the same reasons Shady is not here. Over 30, fat contract, declining production.

    White bread, butter, Peter Pam creamy peanut butter, and Welch’s grape jelly. Two of those, wrapped in wax paper for lunch every day through elementary school, junior high and high school. If I went to a nut free school, I would have died of malnutrition.

    I would like to see an unbiased analysis of league wide controversial calls over the last 20-25 years, and see what percentage of the calls went in favor of the larger market team. The ones that come to mind immediately seem to favor large over small. Just curious.
