  1. I don’t know if it’s a New England thing or a Vermont thing, but they love to put shredded cabbage on subs here. At first I was appalled and wouldn’t try it. It since has grown on me. Adds a nice crunch to the sandwich. As long as the cabbage is shredded super thin. At most places it’s either cabbage or romaine leaves. No shredded iceberg. Not a big fan of romaine on my sub.
  2. I dunno...maybe because most of these people learned how to drive in the mountains or VT.
  3. Just a hunch. Huge international airport. Good infrastructure. Lots of universities. I also heard that they offered up a huge plot of developable land adjacent to the airport.
  4. I remember back in the day before concussions were “a thing” quite literally regaining consciousness on the playing (lacrosse) field. I’d just get up and keep playing. Now, one of my players takes even a little hit, and I’m almost certain to lose him for the rest of the game. Probably the next game too. I’m all about safety, but I think things have gotten a little carried away.
  5. I realize the list is in alphabetical order, but I would be surprised if Atlanta didn’t get it.
  6. I was driving south from Burlington to Middlebury yesterday during a pretty decent snow storm.....more vehicles in the ditches than on the road. All Vermonters. What the hell? Why don’t these people know how to drive in the snow?? Best thing about it was nearly half of the vehicles off the road were these giant 4 wheel drive trucks
  7. Three cats?! Jeebus. You must have a kiddie pool sized litter box, man!
  8. I just got my hair cut and the girl butchered it. I look like a friggin marine.
  9. What’s Beef? Notorious BIG
  10. With all the cadavers in the Minni missing their knee ligaments...no thanks. Same for Bradford, IMO. Both an awkward fall away from amputation.
  11. My son is scary smart. He is going to be so much better than me. He is so kind and funny. This makes me happy.
  12. Oh, come on. Lighten up. I like the celebrations. It’s fun.
  13. Gross. No...just no. And now I’m envisioning Gugny naked on a bed of lettuce eating tuna fish. For some reason Gugny looks just like Jack Black in my mind
  14. I’d rather have Rashaan Evans AND Vita Vae/Maurice Hurst
  15. We’ll take it. As much as I’ve grown to dislike Pitt, it is sad what has happened to that program since Jamie Dixon left for TCU. It doesn’t get much easier for the rest of January, although we do have a good stretch of road games. Hopefully Autry and Chukwu can take some of that foul shooting practice time and practice dunking the basketball. Nice game for Howard last night. Such a grease ball...
  16. The show certainly has evolved, but Howard is one of the best (if not the best) interviewers of all time.
  17. What’s a facebooker? Wait, let me type it into Ask Jeeves.
  18. I am seriously jacked up about this ‘18 class. Bazley is unreal. A 6’9” guy who can shoot, handle like a PG, and run the floor with the best of them playing the 3. Jalen Carey is a very good all around combo guard. I think he’s currently like 53rd ranked recruit (and many think very underrated). Aggressive, slasher type guard who can shoot the lights out. If Battle does return, I don’t know how JB can keep this kid off the court. Watch out Howard. Buddy Boeheim is reputed to be a tremendous shooter. I don’t know how they find him time though with transfer Elijah Hughes eligible to play and Howard Washington developing. Maybe a redshirt year for Buddy? If Battle returns, I envision the starting line-up being Howard, Battle, Bazley, Brissett, and Chukwu. With Jalen Carey first off the bench for the guards, and Moyer, Dolezaj and Sidibe seeing minutes in the frontcourt. That’s silly depth.
  19. Not particularly.
  20. My wife binged on pickles when she was pregnant with both of my kids. I learned to always keep 3-4 jars on hand when I came home one night to find her dipping leaves of romaine lettuce into the juice of an empty pickle jar.
  21. 2018 commit Darius Bazley selected to McDonalds All-American game. Can’t wait to see him in action. Going to be a beast for us next year. https://www.google.com/amp/s/articles.syracuse.com/orangebasketball/index.ssf/2018/01/syracuse_recruit_darius_bazley_named_to_mcdonalds_all-american_game.amp
