He already sold the stock at record highs back in 2018 to fund the XFL. The WWE stock isn't a factor.

I would be willing to go a bit more for Milano if the contract is easy to get out of after 2 years. 9ish million with 20 guaranteed seems fair for both sides.

McMahon supposedly had 3 years of the league funded so it appears he was will to have it he a loss for that long. Officially they are suspending operations so who knows if they won't take another shot in 2021

H-Money was decent in 2018 (a bit shaky in the 40 plus range but serviceable on 50+) but in 2019 while he was still good on field goals under 50 yards (only missing 2 out of 23 sub 50) he was only 1 for 5 on field goals in the 50+ range. While I think consistency in the 49 and under range is good and a must (you have to hit 90% of field goals under 50 yards) you have to have some range to hit 50+ field goals. I think you need your kicker to have at least 50% on +50 field goals. 20% just isn't going to cut it. I agree that they need to at least bring in some competition.

RGIII would come to mind (2 future firsts and a second along with the 6th pick that was swapped back), also the H.Walker trade was a lot of picks. But Cooks if you count the draft day trade cost teams 3 first round picks (NO trade up, NE pick, and the LA pick) and a 2nd round pick. That's quite the haul if you add it all up.

I think it is silly to assume D.Williams is going to take the RT spot from Ford. Ford was trash a lot of last season but after Ty got hurt Ford looked a lot better. I expect Ford will pick up where he left off and play well at RT better than D.Williams who has been seriously hurt multiple times since his All-Pro days.

Both are on big contracts both are the same age. However Cooks is coming off of an injury prone season and has a history with concussions, I get that we paid more for Diggs but being healthy is a premium that you have to pay for.

The XFL is completely divorced from the WWE as its own entity. So I don't think that the WWE stock was much of an impact. I think Vince just looked at the money he would have to burn through in order to keep the league's infrastructure in place and the possibility of keeping it on TV and passed. Sad as they did a much better job this time around.

Fuller can't stay healthy granted Cooks has been banged up before (although as much ***** as Cooks gets for being injury prone he played 16 games a season from 2015 to 2018.) I think they feel that they need at least one downfield option to stay healthy for their offense to function. I guess it is a better gamble to just have 2 guys who can do that and hope one can stay on the field. If all 4 can stay healthy (which is unlikely) they could use Fuller as a gadget player which might expand that offense.

It has been reported that other teams were willing to offer a 1st plus other picks for Hopkins had they known he was on the trade market. So even if the Bills liked Diggs more there still would have been other teams willing to offer a similar package to what the Vikings got for Diggs. People use the Diggs comparison because Diggs was traded days later and is the same caliber of player.

I think it is more bad circumstances over him being a bad player or malcontent. He was traded from New Orleans after two 1,000 yard seasons to the Pats because the Saints weren't in a position cap wise to retain him. He gets traded from New England after one season (a season in which he had 1,000 yards) because he is on the last year of his deal and the Pats get value for him getting a first round pick. His first year in Los Angeles he has a career high 1,200 receiving yards and gets a big extension. Year two in LA he gets banged up and his production dips well under 1,000 yards and the Rams find themselves in cap hell so they trade him for solid value. I haven't heard of him being a malcontent or a problem for any coaches. I just think he falls into circumstances where teams weren't able to pay him long term but other teams wanted to give up good picks to trade for him. It would be one thing if they got a 1st round pick and other picks for Hopkins AND Then made this trade for Cooks. But all they got back for Hopkins was David Johnson on a bad contract, a 2nd round pick and a future 4th. I would much rather have had what the Vikings got for Diggs which still gave them the future 4th and gave them a higher overall pick while not having to take back a bad contract and still adding 2 mid/late round picks. This just looks like a classic case of a coach getting in the way of the GM who happens to be the same person.

I get that the two trades aren't directly in tandem. But that is what it amounted to on an effective basis. He traded one of the top 5 receivers in the game plus a 4th round pick for a broken down RB on a big contract, a second round pick, and a future 4th round pick. Then trades his other 2nd round pick for Cooks and a 4th round pick. Effectively turning his 2nd round pick, 4th round pick and Hopkins into Cooks, David Johnson, pick 43, a 4th round pick and a future 4th. Whereas many GM's have said off the record had they known Hopkins was available they would have traded a package of picks featuring at least a late 1st rounder for him. I actually don't hate this trade as the Texans desperately needed a WR and Cooks is a good player. The cost for Cooks even on his contract was reasonable. However BOB is a classic case of why the coach shouldn't be the GM. He let his emotions about a player devalue the player.

Of the Bills starting 5 O-line players who do you feel is such a massive liability? Dawkins is a solid LT who is entering his 4th year, Spain is an above average guard who shouldn't decline in play, Mitch is a top 5-8 center in the league, and Feliciano was a very good guard last year. I get everyone on here hates Ford but he finished the year strong when Ty got hurt AND they still brought in D.Williams to compete with him while they still had Ty on the roster. The depth on this line is insane too. Long and Ty are starting caliber players who are versatile off the bench, D.Williams was a former All-Pro who is still in his 20's and Bates is a young versatile player who played well last season. I think the O-line is good esp after brining in D.Williams to push Cody at RT. I can't think of a time when all 5 positions along the O-line had quality players and there was good depth behind them.

I think they draft a RB in that mold in round 4 or 5 (much more pressing needs at DE and WR depth wise) I think they are OK with Yeldon as a backup. He is a good receiving back that if Singletary or the other back gets hurt can come in and be a third down back. I wouldn't be shocked if they do bring in some competition for Yeldon but he is solid as a team's vet third down back backup.

I wouldn't mind Freeman on a cheap deal to be a third down back but the Bills don't need that kind of role player on the roster. Yeldon and Singletary are both backs that can catch the ball and play well on third down and other throwing situations. The Bills need a power early down short yardage back which Freeman is not.

They basically traded away Hopkins and pick number 57 for Brandin Cooks (on a big contract) pick 43 and a future 4th round pick. BOB is the worst GM in the league. They could have easily gotten the Diggs package for Hopkins while still trading for Cooks and had pick 22 instead of 47 and still have pocketed the 4th in 2021 AND gotten extra mid round picks.

When I vote in person (New Jersey) all I need is a signature. You still have to sign a mail in ballot so there is no real verification process on either end besides cross referencing each voter to a voter registration number to see if they are valid and only voted once. In fact a mail in ballot can be cross referenced before it is fully counted whereas you are counting on local people's judgements for the electronic systems as once a vote is put into the electronic system it can't be cross referenced. Without a receipt system for in person voting there is no backup of the votes which leaves it hugely vulnerable to hacking and other malfeasence that can't be traced without a paper trail. I don't see how in person voting (which would still be allowed) is any more secure. I also don't see any inherent risks to mail in ballots which you can cross reference as they come in weeks ahead of time. The risks of voter rolls and dead people voting are risks that still exist with in person voting. You could have all sorts of fraud without a paper trail in an in person voting system. In fact once a local election clerk allows you to vote there is no way of knowing if that vote was legitimate or not. Where as a mail in ballot can be cross referenced before it is officially counted. Fraud is a risk in any system, I don't think you have fully demonstrated that there are more inherent risks to a mail in system compared to a electronic in person system.

Once again how is in person voting more secure? You have zero paper trail for any fraud. California's "ballot harvesting" is your example and it doesn't even remotely constitute fraud (collecting people's ballots for them and dropping them off at the polling place isn't fraud as long as all people are registered voters.) You could potentially have an operative hack into a system and change votes with a push of a button without anyone knowing with an electronic system. Whereas if you have mail in ballots the paper trail is easy to track and log and there is actually less chance of fraud. It also expands voting access. You are right people died to protect the vote and we should be doing everything in our power to ensure that everyone has ample access to vote rather than setting one day with limited time at limited locations for people to vote. I just don't see any evidence that voting by mail is more susceptible to fraud than electronic systems that have no paper trail.

How, genuinely asking? Wouldn't it be just as easy to hack electronic voting systems that have no paper trail? Mail in ballots have to be tied to an individual voter and leave a paper trail. It also takes place over many weeks which gives election officials an easier time noticing abnormal voting patterns.

I am shocked that this is even a debate. We should be making it easier for people to vote not harder. Allowing mail in ballots and early voting for all 50 states plus Puerto Rico is a good thing.

I could see New England trading down 6-9 picks and taking him late in the 1st. They sit him for a year and pick up another pick to fill out some other needs. It would be the type of savvy move they would make.

You don't know how tough the schedule really is until the season starts to shake out. The NFL is far more volatile than any other league year to year. Injuries, regression teams falling flat happen to a lot of teams you would expect to be tough, whereas weak teams get lucky and develop better than they are projected to. I only look at the divisional opponents as the real test of the schedule and even that isn't super reliable. So I don't really put much stock into how difficult a schedule really is. However I do think that the team will win 11 games if I had to project pre-draft. Looking into the division I am not too impressed. The Pats* have a tough defense and ST unit but their QB situation is a bit rocky, I think they are a mid-level team. The Fins are improving from scrappy underdog but unless they have a QB (and unless they trade for Joe B I don't see that changing) I see their ceiling at 7 wins. The Jets are a bit tricky, they made modest improvements to the O-line but they still lack a lot of talent around a good QB. Unless the Jets nail their draft I don't see them having the talent level around their QB to get above 8 wins. So the division looks soft, Diggs is a big addition, the team keeps a strong defense and is young or in its prime at most positions. McD is a good coach and Allen is in his third year and should improve a bit I hope. I think they can go 4-2 in the division and then 7-3 against the rest of their schedule. Overall I think that this team is primed to win the division and a divisional win along with a playoff win is the bare minimum this team must achieve.

I don't blame Ramsey for having his perception of a small market. In Ramsey's time in Jacksonville they were a very poorly run organization. Yes they were really good in 2017 but even in their greatest season they were a 10 win team and while they won 2 playoff games lets be honest they should have handled the Bills in round 1. Whereas the Bills have had 2 winning seasons in the years Tre was here including most recently a 10 win season (that easily could have been 11 wins and a tough playoff loss that could have gone either way) and they are in a much better long term situation than the Jags who were win now in 2017. I think as long as the Bills have a consistently competitive team guys like Tre will want to stay if the money is right.

Karlos Williams was such a beast that first year, 5.6 yard per-carry and 9 TD's in 11 games. But the dude got high on his own supply more quickly than any player I have ever seen. He went from promising rookie season to never playing a down in the NFL ever again. Even Travis Henry had three 1,000 yard seasons during his career over the course of seven seasons before imploding off the field completely. Karlos Williams rookie year was solid but not exactly a breakout season, but he showed up like a star on the backend of his career with a huge guarantee in his sophomore NFL season? How much of a ****head must you be to not even be able to put together back to back good NFL seasons when you are on a rookie deal? Then he constantly gets suspended after two second chances with a quality organization like the Steelers and even now at the age of 26 going on 27 he could still honestly revive his career if he played well in the CFL or XFL and was humble. But he hasn’t learned anything being out of the leage the last 4 seasons. He still sounds like a ****head. As much as I thought Whaley was an average GM (Good at pro-personnel decisions bad at drafting) he gave Karlos a shot at the NFL and cut him after he showed up fat and a malcontent after one solid season.
