  1. not necessarily . Jim, Marino, and McNabb are dummies- and the test shows that. Eli, Kaepernick, Gabbert, Fitz, and Winston all scored high- they are highly intelligent. Favre was another dummy. He had to ask Detmer what a nickel defense was
  2. I was at Mohegan Sun when Gronk was there and just missed bumping into him(my friend did). If I ever get within earshot of Gronk- I am going to yell "Go home Gronk! We forgive you. Your family misses you. Come home to your city. Help us bring the Lombardi trophy home to Buffalo!" I think that would elicit a smile from Gronk
  3. He had 6 catches for 87 yards. God I hope we can come up with a better second option at WR
  4. Try and take the Wonderlic yourself. Some questions are easy, others involve time. But the hard part is you only have 12 minutes to answer 50 questions. The time thing makes it very difficult to finish whole test, and then when you look at remaining time and see how many questions are unanswered- it's easy to panic. It is a hard test in that aspect. Don't believe me- take that test and post your score
  5. Josh Allen: 37 Josh Rosen: 29 Sam Darnold: 28 Baker Mayfield: 25 Lamar Jackson: 13 https://footballiqscore.com/quiz/full-quiz knock yourself out brainiacs. Try and beat Josh's 37
  6. "Jackson possesses a rare combination of A-plus traits (speed, athleticism, and arm talent) that could make him a superstar dual-threat playmaker in the league for the next decade."
  7. 30" vertical is not NFL material for an LB IMO. Maybe in the 80's, but not in todays game
  8. http://breakingfootball.com/2018-nfl-draft-dante-pettis-and-the-art-of-the-punt-return/ Dante Pettis is a WR that seems like a great fit for the Bills. And he might be best returner in draft
  9. And if there is a QB run as expected and we are shut out of top 5- I am ok with Derwin James at 12 and Vander Esch or Rashan Evans at 22. Then stockpiling offense He is not a 1990's hybrid. He is more of a swiss army knife. He can match up with Gronk or AJ Green or Kamara. He can line up outside, inside, at LB. He can blitz, and he can bring it. He would instantly make our defense much better
  10. I agree. LB and QB are two biggest needs on this team. But CB is up there too. Brace yourself, because we will draft one high IMO
  11. NFL teams run the nickel as a base defense 65% of the time. I am ok with a nickel defense of Derwin James, Tre'Davious, Poyer, Vontae Davis, and Micah Hyde. That would be one of best in NFL
  12. There is a chance he is there at 22. And we have plenty of chips to move up to top 15 to secure Jackson if that is their dude
  13. I would consider that position too at 12. If that value is not there, I go with highest rated my board. What team could not use Patrick Peterson? We have plenty more draft picks, and maybe they like a QB outside top 4. As far as your question, open battle between AJ McCarron, whichever QB we draft, and Nathan Peterman
  14. Derwin James was a 5 star recruit who is 6'3 215 and ran a 4.7 with a 40" vertical. He is compared to Patrick Peterson and Jalen Ramsey. Not to mention, it is a position of need. This front office would be stupid not to consider him at 12
  15. It is a Buffalo Bills message board. Excuse me for expressing an opinion for discussion
  16. Derwin James is the chess piece coveted by most every team. TE's and HB's are in vogue now. And hybrid LB/S and CB/S are valued on defense. Power forwards running wheel routes- fight fire with fire
  17. I have to see photos. If those innocuous photos were the ones in question, WTF? Did the Puritans run that college?
  18. and don't charge the mound. The old man will beat up young punks that do
  19. I agree about hindsight. But I believe that history will continually show that it is wiser to trade down then trade up. Zay provides another example
  20. The Bills traded picks 44 and 91(2nd and 3rd) with Rams for 37 and 149(2nd and 5th) to draft Jones. Beane had an excellent first draft with the exception of this move IMO. Alvin Kamara, Kareem Hunt, JuJu, Cooper Kupp, Davis Webb are just a few players who we could of drafted at 44 without trading up, instead of trading up for Zay I thought Zay was a safe pick for us. But so far I concur, Zay is a bust. Hopefully he proves us wrong
  21. A backup QB(who was drafted in 2nd round) won superbowl and biggest play of the game was made by Brandon Graham. IMO the QB was good enough. But the coach was worse the Hank Bullough. You and most of the board can disagree with me about Tyrod, but I think we can all agree Rex was dog ****
