It is my belief that games are won in the trenches. Give Peyton or Brady time and they would move the ball at will. Their success is enabled by the oline. Get in their grill (ie Giants) and they are beatable. Build this team with the lines first
which quality QB's have the Bills passed on? I will give you Russel Wilson and Dak. But what other quality QB did we not draft tha last 20 years. The fact is there are not many quality QB's in the NFL
I prefer Sitton over Star. Draft Billy Price. Move Cordy to RT. Dawkins-Richie-Price-Sitton-Cordy is a great line and fairly young. Price would be flanked by two veterans. There is depth with Miller, Groy, Vlad, Mills, McDermott
How can you complain about Tradavious and a 1st this year? Who will we draft at 22? Perhaps Lamar Jackson or Allen- and perhaps whomever the QB we draft at 22 will become a top NFL QB and better then Mahomes and Watson. Did you ever consider that?
yuck. I was hoping for something better. A couple years ago I hooked up with a "natural girl". I got her pants off and saw her hairy bush and exclaimed "I haven't seen a hairy bush since college!". She didn't care for that comment lol
DT was a huge need that year, and 90% of TBD wanted and thought we would draft Ngata- and we were collectively floored when the Whitner pick was announced. Same with the Brian Orakpo pick. NFL front offices know more then message boards, but those drafts I wonder
I am all for taking shots at QB. But I am not down for trading multiple picks for a high risk/high reward position. I would draft a QB almost every year- but in rounds 2-5. Like I stated beforen- "Me personally would rather have the 2000 Ravens D and Trent Dilfer or the 1985 Bears D with Jim McMahon then 2015 Colts with Andrew Luck"
How about you?
So how many QB's the past 20 years have been worth trading up for? And how many big trades for a QB have failed the past 20 years? The numbers are pretty grim
Nick Foles just won the Superbowl against our arch rivals. I agree we could use upgrade at QB. But let's not get robbed trying to trade up for a lottery ticket at QB. There are 22 starting positions, and we can improve quite a few with the picks and cap room we have. Me personally would rather have the 2000 Ravens D and Trent Dilfer or the 1985 Bears D with Jim McMahon then 2015 Colts with Andrew Luck. My mantra has been to stay put and let draft and QB come to us. And to stockpile picks this and next year. Let's build our oline and fix our front 7. Pass rush would benefit this team more then anything IMO
Sign Star and Marquise Lee. Keep Cordy and have him and Dawkins as bookends
Draft Lamar or Allen at 21, trade down from 22 for 45 and 68. (800 on Draft value chart for 550 and 250).
round 2+3
45 Ronald Jones RB
53 Isiah Wynn G
56 Harold Landry DE
68 Ogbonnia Okoronkwo OLB
Jones and maybe Michel are both going first round. I seriously would consider Jones at 21, but would prefer selecting him baack of 1st round after a trade down
I would shock Bills Mafia and take Ronald Jones. His game translates big time to the NFL. He will score many long TD's via pass and ground
I like Sony Michel too
And to those that say we do not need to prioritize RB- I say we need playmakers. Ronald Jones is a playmaker
The GIants secondary was the most pathetic in football last year. Apple is a self centered head case. Janoris made Deion look like Jack Tatum. And DMC took his ball and went home. Eli is toxic
