Division is out at this point…have to do it as a wildcard
Pete replied to Billsfed1's topic in The Stadium Wall
Weeks before Miami game- I said if we add a stud WR, we win the Super Bowl. If we don’t add, we will be lucky to make the playoffs, or we limp in. Pittsburgh- Cincy- NE- that could be 3 losses. At this point, Buffalo is too flawed on both sides of the ball. If we miss playoffs, I don’t think that’s the worst thing. Changes need to be made. Failures bring changes. -
I was at the game and let me tell you what was happening downfield

“The Bills offense needed a drive. The unit had struggled throughout, but with 2:48 left in the game, the reigning MVP got the ball back at his own 18-yard line.” just like Bills offense last 2 playoffs at the end of the game, and they struggled then too. Waddle for a 2026 1st would have solved that. Miami agreed. Beane wouldn’t pay 😡 -

Cole Bishop took two Tampa Bay points right off the board

Two cases of addiction by subtraction. Bills best move was when Rapp got hurt. He was consistently the worst player on the field. Once Rapp was out, Poyer took over, Bishop has been making big plays every game since. Bills passing game was wonky. They bench Keon, and Bills score long TD with Sanders and Ty. Passing offense was great. -
Tyrell Shavers reminds me of John Stallworth....

Shavers averaged 6 yards separation against TB- the most in the NFL that week! -
Ron Swanson is one of the funniest TV characters of all time! Larry David, ya dig?

Pitre is one of the top slot DBs in the NFL. He hits, covers, and reacts great. Big loss for Texans

True. Definitely more innate in Shavers than Keon, though. Shavers is an intelligent player. IMO it just going for to take playing time for Shavers to learn weak spots in zones. He’ll figure out I’m guessing

I’d rather see video of Coleman celebrating Bills TD. Hoecht had torn Achilles, and told doctors he was gonna stay on bench, and watch game. He then asked McD if we could go watch with the defense. Hoecht celebrated with Bills jubilantly, with a torn Achilles. If Keon can’t celebrate with his teammates, is dancing on sideline, and was vague in postgame interview if he got the message or not. Not a good look Keon at the very least. Compare and contrast Keon and Hoecht, it’s a massive difference.

Shavers wins vertically often. Just as he won vertically in preseason. Shavers runs great routes, blocks, great off script. Shavers has the longest TD out of our initial 5 WRs. Watch the film, Shavers impresses. I don’t see how they can ever elevate Keon over Shavers. Shavers and Palmer is the best starting 2 WR for Bills

Mills numbers are ok, but he is one of the worst in the league, by most every metric, if he doesn’t pass to the first option. A major key, McDs specialty, is take away Nico.

When did Curtis get hurt? Is that another mystery practice injury?

Beane blew this draft bad. Bishop is the one bright spot. Ray Davis is a good back up. Grable had promise, but when does he return? Does he ever return? Defensive and Offensive failures can be attributed to this failed draft class
