  1. Roethlisberger is a sociopath. One woman accusing him of sexual abuse could be a case of gold digging but two makes it a pattern, there are probably more. What was a guy his age with his money doing in a Podunk college town bar? Then in a PR move he suddenly finds Jesus and gets married, give me a brake. Vick is also a sociopath and a thug. His level of cruelty to animals is despicable but his victims were not human.
  2. I agree that it has been 51 years of limited success and I think that is putting it nicely. I have been a fan for all that time. Prior to the great team of the late 80s early 90s Ralph Wilson was not considered to be a good owner. In fact he was considered to be one of the worst. Why do you think guys like Jim Kelly originally refused to play for the Bills? I could sight multiple bone headed decisions made by his organization over the last half century, but most of you already know what they were. However there is no taking away what the man did for the sport of football and he deserves to be in the HOF. I met Ralph Wilson, he was very nice and he loves the Bills and loves talking about the team. That being said I think he is ill equipped to run a modern NFL franchise.
  3. Please correct me if I am wrong, but among other things didn't Bill Polian call Ralph's daughter the most offensive thing you can call a woman? If I am right about this, then what choice did Ralph have? And how stupid of Polian. The other thing is hiring one's son when it is not your family owned business is a mistake. If Chris Polian can't do the job, then both have to get fired. I believe the same thing will happen with the Shanahans.
  4. I think if Merriman can pass a physical, he is back. The Bills are incredibly weak at the position he plays. Whether he makes the team remains to be seen. Please correct me if I am wrong but juicing aside, didn't his problems in San Diego begin when he refused to have knee surgery in the off season? Then a couple of games into the season decided to have the surgery and went on IR, sound familiar? I think tha he is reluctant to go under the knife. He seems to think that in time he will heal, his problem is he is running out of time.
  5. How is this guys accuracy and arm strength? He can obviously move and has good pocket awareness.
  6. I was at a game at the old rock pile in 1968 when Ed Rutkowski was the starting QB. As a QB Rutkowski was a good politician.
  7. I really don't understand the stadium/amusement park/mall/food court thing. I go to watch a football game, which means spending about four hours in the stadium. I understand the need for luxury boxes but I think all the other amenities are to get people in the building and out of the parking lot.
  8. Unless Spiller can rush the passer or cover someone or coach, I fail to see what he has to do with anything. This game was over before it started, when you are down 21 in the blink of an eye, your offensive game plan is gone. Three hundred yards in the first half! Are you kidding? No personnel can be that bad. It is bad defensive coaching. If you don't think coaching is important loof at the 49ers, basically the same team, yet not the same team. Did they make some big personnel moves in the off season? If you didn't think this D coaching staff is clueless, all you had to see is Dareus dropping into coverage. Are you kidding me?
  9. I've said it before, enter Bennett and Lofton. The acquisition of those guys changed that team. We are a few players away. Too bad about Merriman, it was a nice try. Had he been 80% of his former self this would be a different D.
  10. I his pre game speech Tomlinson said the Bills were the same old Bills. I would replay that all week before the next game.
  11. I love this team, on most Sundays they have been fun, but they remind me of the Bills of the late 80's pre Cornelius Bennett, and James Lofton. They are missing some people.
  12. I thought exactly the same thing. He didn't like Gailey's offense, wanted him gone.
  13. Or it could actually be from the future. I got all choked up reading it and then after explaining it to my wife, she asked with a completely straight face, "so now do you want to buy a house on that street.". I didn't say this, but yes I do.
  14. I was at the first Bills Raiders game played at The Ralph which was also the first Monday night game played there. September 16 1974. Bills won 21-20. George Blanda had a chance to win it with a 47 yard FG, with 47 seconds left. The kick came after midnight, so it was the 17th, Blanda's birthday, his 47th. He missed it.
  15. Please do not ever say or write Fitzlicious again. This is for your own good.
