  1. First I'd like to remind everyone that this thread is about possible Cap casualties. Not Easley, obviously not Hardy. How about Kaufman?
  2. If you have a choice between an intriguing rookie WR and Smith, what would you do?
  3. Okay let's do it your way. Link 2, Over the Cap site, if I am reading it correctly, the only two people would create more Cap savings than Smith, would be Byrd and Kyle Williams.the next closest would be E. Wood and Chandler. So in order of Cap savings we have, Byrd, K. Williams, Smth, E. Wood and Chandler. No one else is close. What is wrong with this picture?
  4. Wait, something is wrong with Taylor Swift?
  5. Hey, something you and I agree on. Where did you come up with $2.7m? The WGR article that started this thread says $3.8m.
  6. Lovie Smith is, Marrone is not.
  7. I don't even know what the discussion is about. You wrote they Easley couldn't even beat out Martin. My point was that I don't trust any personnel decisions by the previous coaching staff, which in my opinion would render their decision to never play Easley moot, and further more Easley is on the roster. Nelson, Jones, and Martin are not. I don't care if they keep Easley or cut him but I will trust in this coaching staffs decision not last years.
  8. Apparently not, Easley is currently on the rooster and Martin is not.
  9. I have no idea what Easley can do and I am not defending him. However I have zero faith in any personnel decisions made by the previous coaching staff. This staff immediately cut two of last years season opening starting WR.
  10. Could one of the numbers guys figure out how much cap space is saved by cutting Smith? Sorry, found it $3.8 million.
  11. Brad Smith is mediocre at everything he does. Not a good receiver, not much of a return man and certainly not a QB. Smith is never going to be anything more than what he is, and you would like to keep him rather than a rookie with potential?
  12. What has Smith ever done? He was brought in to run the Wildcat. This coaching staff has no intention of running the Wildcat.
  13. I agree, I thought Smith was on narrowed time last year and these guys aren't even thinking about the Wildcat. The only way Jackson stays is if he put plays Kolb in camp and preseason. Rian is gone he has been a good kicker but time waits for no man. Anderson and pears stay unless they really get trounced in camp. Borrowed not narrowed. Out not put Damn spell correct!
  14. Cranks you're a genius. The first time I read this all I saw was a second math error, which of course is was not. You were just yanking our collective chain, well done. The Geno thing is brilliant. If I wore a hat it would be off to you.
  15. Is that the shortest tenure anyone has ever had? What were the Cowboys thinking? Oh that's right, they are run by a lunatic.
  16. I think Brad Smith is gone. Too much money for a Special Teams player, he will be a cap casualty
  17. Mike Jasper's, it sleeps six.
  18. You're absolutely right. So that was ironic.
  19. Someone else pointed this out on another thread. For the 8th pick the Bills got, Manuel, Alonso and Gragg. So they would have been better off taking the 5th best OL?
  20. At least it is just a miss use of a synonym. How about a word that does not exist, "prolly" instead of "probably" is the one that kills me. That being said this is not an English class.
  21. I've been wanting to write exactly this for a week. If there is a QB you want and need mid to later in the first round is the place. You don't over pay and you have the option for a fifth year.
