  1. I did not want the Bills to draft Smith. I was extolling Manuel's strengths and wanted the Bills to take him for months. However just as I think Manuel's weaknesses are exaggerated, I feel the same about Smith.
  2. I would have to agree with this. I lived in NYC during his entire career watched a lot of games. Taylor had that rare ability to just take over a game. Kind of like Micheal Jordan did. Taylor was scary good.
  3. The second paragraph made me laugh out loud (I know I'm not suppose to spell that out, but typing LOL makes me feel twelve). You are absolutely right if those two picks are reversed the Bills are geniuses.
  4. Nobody likes football players of ill repute, but most like women of ill repute.
  5. Love your avatar.
  6. Oh yeah and HELL NO
  7. "optimistic" " very bad"? I wrote this in another thread, but I'll do it again. How did this team get worse? Last year was one of the worst coaching jobs I have ever seen.
  8. Was he the guy that won the Nobel Peace Prize?
  9. http://www.sports-reference.com/cfb/players/jp-losman-1.html http://www.sports-reference.com/cfb/players/ej-manuel-1.html Please stop comparing Losman to Manuel. The only things the have in common are strong arms and both drafted in the first round by the Bills.
  10. I think we lost at least two games because of those collars.
  11. I know this is a Kiper bash and I'm all for that, but I didn't watch ESPN. I watched the NFL Network and when the Bills took Alonso Mayock says " good pick position of need, after all Nick Barnett is 32 years old". Okay, just let that sink in. Yeah, these guys are the experts.
  12. I don't know if Doug Marrone and his staff are going to be good, but I know they will be better than last years staff. In fifty some odd years of watching football I have never seen more inexplicable decision than that staff made last year. Do you need to be reminded? Seriously, stop and think about it for a second. As idiotic and inept as they were they still managed six wins. How could this staff do worse? Do you think the personnel is worse? Why because we lost a guard? Who other than Levitre could possibly be missed? Is anyone going to miss Fitzpatrick? Kolb or Manuel have to be better. Nelson and Jones vs. all these new guys? New guys can't be worse. Do you find yourself longing for Barnett and Wilson? Their record will be better than last year. They will at the very least be fun to watch, instead of painful.
  13. I agree with pretty much everything you wrote. I always thought EJ was the top of this QB class.
  14. That and he better than anyone else. Is better Forgot the is
  15. Time for "he was the guy we wanted all along".
  16. I was just thinking the same thing,
  17. Mayock just said how he liked what the Bills have done so far. Likes the trade down likes the two WR. Alonzo is a "human wrecking ball" and the Bills really needed him because Nick Barnett is thirty two years old. So he doesn't know that Barnett got cut months ago? These are the guys we listen too, yikes.
  18. Ralph is cheap Doomed Bills moving to LA Bills moving to Toronto OJ is not guilty
  19. I agree, the maneuvering was brilliant. If you are taking a QB high in the draft the best place to take him is first round out of the top ten. Based on the rookie compensation structure once your out of the top ten you are not over paying and you get an option for a fifth year if the guy turns out to be great.
  20. To all of you that think we should pass on a QB or wait until late rounds, we have the worst QB situation of any team in the league because of that kind of thinking.
  21. Let me clear this up once and for all. Wannstedt was awful that defense was from 1989. But Gailey hired Wannstedt and Nix hired Gailey. So who hired Nix? Oh that's right. I am an eternal optimist especially when it comes to the Bills. I hope that Ralph turning control over to Russ will make a difference. I can't remember what year it was, it was when Mularkey was the HC, the Bills blew a big lead against Miami. Walking out of the game I told my nephew that nothing will change until ownership changes. Sadly in my more lucid moments I still believe this.
  22. I'd be good with anyone of these guys, in order. Nassib Manuel Barkley I use to have Manuel first, but I was so impressed with Nassib on Gruden's QB Camp, I moved him to fist. Nassib is the biggest risk for Marrone. If Nassib fails Marrone should have known better. I'm intrigued by Manuel. Isn't the guy with the greatest upside what you want? If Barkley had come out a year ago most people would have been screaming for him.
