If the Bills leave in the first 14 years they would have to repay all public funding, $600mm to NY State and $250mm to Erie County. What municipality or state is going to absorb that, plus having to build a new stadium, to get an NFL Franchise?

I can see Chiefs moving to Kansas, kind of like what happened with Giants and Jets. Not sure St. Louis will ever have a team again. Lost two teams, even though these moves were due to ownership being determined to move. I don’t see the Joneses allowing another team anywhere remotely near them. Chargers probably not going anywhere. I don’t have any idea about the Panthers.

Bills signed a thirty year lease.

Strange thing I noticed about Mike McDaniel

I think they should have to wear a full uniform, like baseball. -

When he was first on camera Thursday night I commented on his attire. I live in south Florida and it was hot. People working outside will wear long sleeves and even hoodies, but that is for sun protection. Since the game was at night and even if it was a day game, home team side of the field is shaded, so sun protection wasn’t the reason. I think it is a fashion statement. It not like we haven’t seen coaches wear weird outfits before. Belichick wearing hoodies with cut off sleeves comes to mind. Do you think he couldn’t tell whom ever to make him short sleeved hoodies? -

Dolphins favored by 2.5, usually get 3 for just being home. -

It is still hot and humid down here. Obviously no sun for the game, but hot. -
Could that stat be skewed because Josh like to take off and run when that close?

Love all of those places.

Labor Day Weekend: Should be opening day for NFL

Why do you still have DirecTV? I only had it for Sunday Ticket. A year ago I switched tho YouTube TV, way better. I use a Firestick to stream what ever I want (you can use Roku). -

It’s not the NIL that killed the NCAA, the NCAA committed suicide. I don’t have a problem with college athletes making money from their name, image and likeness, why shouldn’t they? Remember when only “amateurs” could participate in the Olympics? Except of course if you were the Soviet Union or East Germany. The bigger problem with college football is the transfer portal. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/get-ready-for-the-nfl-to-invade-labor-day-weekend# Looks like it’s just a matter of time. -
Wow things change. I lived in Charleston a long time ago, pretty sure I was the only Bills fan. The Panthers didn’t exist, it was all about college football.

Yup, one of those Timex watches you could attach to an outboard propeller and it would keep on ticking. -

It would take some doing to get back to 1970s, NYC was F-ed up. I still loved it, don’t want to live there anymore, but I loved it. I left Buffalo to go to college in early 70s, went back for holidays and summer. I couldn’t have considered moving back permanently, because there was zero opportunity, it was a city on the decline, The St. Lawrence Seaway made Buffalo superfluous. I still have family there, I still go back and visit. It is heartening to see what is going on there. It took 50 years, but it seems like it’s on the comeback. Go Bills Hah, sorry I thought you asked where I lived in NYC. I left in 1989. -

In the 70s I lived on W68th, then on E51st. In the 1980s I lived on Henry St. In Brooklyn Heights (my favorite place), then on E22nd and Broadway. By the way, I went to Bills, Jets Games at Shea. It was worse that the Old Rock Pile, where I went to a lot of games. -

I lived in NYC in the 70s and 80s, it was a mess. But I didn’t know any better, I just thought that’s how big cities are. The politicians were corrupt, the police were corrupt. That was fifty years ago. Now New York, is one of the safest cities in the US. I’m an old guy too, I don’t believe in the good old days. For the last 30 plus years, I’ve lived in Delray Beach Fl. A great place, which is a little surf town at heart. Starting around 2010 we became the rehab capital of the country, it was sad and horrible. Politics didn’t cause it, the opioid crisis did, which was caused by pharmaceutical companies. We all need to pay better attention, listen to each other, be civil to one another. Not everything is some conspiracy, not everything is political. -

Brooklyn Heights, which is a really nice neighborhood. I was about 50 feet from my apartment. -

Buffalo homicide rate is 9.7% per 100,000 people, San Francisco is 6.3% per 100,000, according to USA Facts. US News and World Report, according to FBI statistics, ranks San Francisco 20th for most dangerous US Cities. I got mugged years ago, two guys, one had a knife to my throat. I made a business decision that my life was worth more than the money in my pocket and my watch. Any questions? -
I think that assessment of the Bills is pretty accurate, but I don’t understand the Jets and Dolphins. The Jets season is predicted on Rogers, he is 40 years old coming off a serious injury and really hasn’t played football in a year and a half. As for the Dolphins Tua is Tua, the longer he is around, the more DCs will learn his limitations. The Dolphins defense is going to be worse. That offensive “juggernaut” they had last season, mostly against bad teams, is unlikely to be repeated.

I understand how you feel and I felt the same way, until I ran into to them in Orlando, those two are both dogs man! A Simpson vs Griffin matchup is interesting, but that’s what people thought about Duran vs Leonard, but I can hear Homer saying “no mas no mas!”
