  1. https://www.thenewstribune.com/sports/article309414790.html The Washington Post first did a piece on Jordan Schultz a day before this article. Didn’t post it because you have to be a subscriber. The Sports Journal also picked up the story. As to the obscurity of Carter, four other outlets picked up the story, including Sports Illustrated, they all gave themselves an out by saying “as reported by Jordan Schultz”. The first person to confirm the story was Joe Buscaglia, “DT DeWayne Carter tore his Achilles and is out for the season, a source confirms. @Shultz Report on it first. After confirmation Joe B. reported it and gave Shultz credit for being first. That is responsible journalism.
  2. No conspiracy, just found it odd that one guy reported this on a Sunday evening. It’s not personal.
  3. Yes it is good enough. Wasn’t questioning Schwartz legitimacy, but people get hacked you know.
  4. Did they reference Jordan Schultz report? I just find it odd he is the only source.
  5. Every report of this refers to Jordan Schultz, he is the only person who knows this?
  6. Not seeing this anywhere else.
  7. Today at US open, hang in there until 1:45. Mary Jo asks about upcoming Bills vs Ravens. Jessica is way more gracious than I would have been, I’d have told her that “her rooting interest in the Ravens are great, but my family owns the Bills”. I think Jess should be a captain.
  8. Just a misunderstanding then.
  9. I don’t think the cocaine possession and the domestic abuse are working in his favor.
  10. Yeah, the good old days, when Decon Jones could club a guy in the head as he got out of his stance.
  11. I disagree on a better situation, the “Patriots Way” and culture was Brady and Belichick. Kraft’s plan for moving on from them was Jerod Mayo, who pretty much had no coaching experience. Now it’s Vrabel, another ex player from the glory days. I don’t believe they have any cultural mystic.
  12. I understand your point, however McDermott inherited a roster, Vrabel let his deteriorate. He survived a few GMs at Tennessee, which would indicate to me that he had the power. He most certainly was making personnel decisions.
  13. Why? Vrabel’s last two seasons as a head coach he went 7-10 and 6-11. If McDermott did that everyone would be calling for his head, not anointing him.
  14. 25 captains seems excessive
  15. You said “always”.
  16. Worth a look then.
  17. That’s what I was thinking, versatile guy. How is he against the run?
  18. He’s only 29, is he washed? Or worth a look?
  19. This I need to use the word “bloviating” more often.
  20. Jerry Jones thinks that making news is winning. In Cowboy world they have their own little dynasty. They are so desperate to be relevant, they produced the documentary series “America’s Team: The Gambler and His Cowboys”. They haven’t been America’s Team for decades. Since 1996 they have won seven playoff games, the Bills have won seven since 2018. Jones is living in the past, the glory days. I have no idea how this turns out, but I don’t see how this makes the Cowboys relevant. This story will last a week, the Cowboys will still be irrelevant. Which I for one love.
  21. Bills first uniforms were the Lions uniforms.
