It was a tough choice but AB announces his biggest regret…
Mr. WEO replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
That's pretty funny though. He don't care... -
Hey brother! Thanks for the kind words. Happy to hear you are leaving this rat race. At 59 I have another 10+ years to go I think. Even then I might get the itch and do some travel locum if places are desperate for an old coot who can still cut! Also, yes it’s crazy these quacks can monetize their goofy practices without liability—-different world. I echo your thoughts re Bills: gotta get to SB—-would be great if the win, but getting there is a must this season. McD should feel that heat with this stacked team. Another playoff bungling/exit and it’s time to re-evaluate the HC position. Enjoy this next phase of your life and I hope not everything is as much of a pain in the neck!

Don't put the Bills in there with Jaguars...

Nah, he was never very clever about it in Buffalo...

The guy was top 5 in yards, yards/game, passes per game, YPA, TDs, QBR, game winning drives and comebacks, passing TD%. He was twice NFC Offensive Player of the Week. He won 4 playoff games, including the SB. These are facts. You have referenced opinion pieces--like your own ("I don't think he was top 5"). As I said, Tomlin was McVay several years ago. If you now want to change your position to "<1% chance McVay finishes his career as the best HC ever"---yeah, that's where I was already, lol.

The look on Daboll's face says that Jones's confession is suddenly hitting him. He looks like he's mainly thinking "man, I shouldn't have bought a house here.." The genius of Daboll is still in Buffalo.

That's a weird hill to die on. Not top 5 is laughable. But if you think saying so is key to your argument, then, yeah--I guess you have to go with that.

The "flaw" in spring football is that no one is watching---yet these guys refuse to learn a lesson that has been taught over and over. The meaningless HOF Game, with 40 min rain delay and highlighting 2 zeros at QB, posted its 2nd lowest ratings in 10 years--5.5 million viewers. Yet despite this, it had 4.5 times as many as the USFL Championship game.....and 4 times as many viewers as all 4 Week 10 games combined. This is always the pattern with these leagues. Their longevity is proportional to the length of time their investors wish to lose money. What is the in the XFL's prospectus? "We are already out of money and we don't expect to ever turn a profit before we declare bankruptcy"? It's a product that has no demand.

Had he made it home he would have Scott free. Just don’t answer the door!!

How many Canadians did he mow down this time? Apparently cops were tipped off after club staff reviewed security cam footage of him mixing his own cocktails in the mens room

“some of that could be attributed to the Rams being better” ”some of that can be attributed to the Lions being worse”. jeez, at least you acknowledged that. Before McVay, Goff had Fisher and Fassel jr., an awful combo. Mcavsy is a very good OC. Yet under his guidance, Goffs performance deteriorated to the point they got rid of him. In steps a “top 5” QB (and Von Miller) and McVay gets a SB win (luckily drawing the Bengals). When the Rams run out of “win now” money and with a paucity of picks and Stafford hangs it up, McVay won’t have a 1st round rookie QB to groom (or get rid of again).
