Gotcha SA

most recent: https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/F/insider-roster?p=F WCF certainly holds more than $57,000 in Ford stock.. Anyway, he is Executive Chair. A link be tween the Board and the CEO. There is no chance ever that he would propose such a dumb scheme to the Board. It would be a blatant violation of their fiduciary responsibilities to the shareholders. He could never influence the Board in this way. It's absurd to suggest he can.

'Praying for Dion' Dawkins: Top Bills Lineman Leaves Camp

I wasn't looking down on him. Was feeling for a guy who one would think would be enjoying a well earned retirement. Maybe it's different in Buffalo, but being an uber driver isn't a job you take at 75 because you like to meet people. It's a rough job in any major city. While some are financially secure and are taking this job out of boredom, many elderly are re-entering the work force for these types of jobs because they are low skill positions that are hiring in numbers and these folks can't live on their pension/retirement these days. It's an unfortunate situation.

How do you know this?

The real LT smoked crack...

Wow--this guy used to be a VP of East Resources, now having to drive the Uber in his 70's...

There was only one LT......

How would this make him "a casualty of the Buffalo Bills training camp 'proceedings'"? -

Poyer would be a prize for sure. Bills want him though. Epenesa is a dud. Milano recently signed a huge contract--other teams may not want to overpay him like that. Word's out, Moss may not make the roster. -
He owns 8.1 millions shares. Also, as Executive Chair, he's a paid Ford employee--not an independent, as are the rest of the board members. It's a job given to recent former CEOs. You really think that he would come the board of Ford and say, "hey, my sister wants to pay one of her players a little money on the side to skirt NFL salary cap rules. You would all be cool with Ford paying this guy for "endorsements" (wink wink), right??" I can't tell if you are serious or not.

Correct, a shareholder. The shareholders all own the FMC. The family can't decide to give a Lions player money for FMC endorsements....

If between now and week one “we” put it out there he can be had for a 7th, any potential trade partner will understand he is being cut… -
I can't imagine he had a fusion. Most patients are never the same after that and often that's the first of their surgeries.

his value to the Bills is a 7th round pick? -
Dude, the Ford family doesn't own the Ford Motor Company...

In my first post, I mentioned McK getting a lot of reps and looking sharp in camp early, plus they know his quote is pretty cheap. -
Andre Reed heavily suggests that OBJ will sign with Bills

he's a bum. Bills shouldn't be his 3rd team in 2 seasons. -

Beane has done exactly that (during training camp, no less), for picks.. I'm not saying they should do it, I'm describing a conversation 2BD was having, re: would he do it again this summer. With that being the premise, I wonder which player would generate the most interest and therefore value. So I mentioned McKenzie, for the obvious reasons I cited. Cheeel Win--staahn. -

Another slot WR needy team could have had him for 2 million and zero picks in March. -

Lol they just got him as a FA on a 1 year contract. He has zero trade value. Because they would be fine without him. Plus he’s the one guy other teams might see trade value in. -
If his role is he’ll set up the organization, he’s been a rolling disaster since he arrived. He has kept the Browns tradition of being a league laughingstock alive and well. As for “his guys”, Berry was one of “his guys” a few years ago. No he’s back as GM and the first thing he does is overpay for Watson (Depodesta had to be involved in pulling that trigger). Nice! At least they have that analytics guy! Even forgetting the ridiculous cost of acquiring him, Absolutely no one would pick Watson after his 4th year over Allen after his 4th season.

TE3 more important than ever. Room for a TE4?
Mr. WEO replied to benderbender's topic in The Stadium Wall
They just get a TE2 now they gotta get 3 and 4? Why not 5? 4 looks like he may have some injury issues -
The point is, If Depodesta is whispering to Haslam that the Browns are just a Watson away from being “a SB contender”, then his analytical skills are below average. The Bills paid less and didn’t have to guarantee all of it to get rising star. Browns got a guy at his peak who decided to hold his last team hostage for a year (after recently signing a huge contract with them). Watson better than Mayfield, but he’s not close to Mahomes and Allen. And The Browns roster isn’t close to the Bills or Chiefs. Bengals either. If fully guaranteed contracts were needed to get top trades (recall the other cost paid for Watson) to happen, they would be commonplace. Obviously they aren’t.
