So Hailee is going to have a commercial at Superbowl ...
Mr. WEO replied to PoundingDog's topic in The Stadium Wall
She has done well for herself career-wise for sure....but she struck gold with Josh. her net worth (since age 14) is what Allen makes in 1 year....after only 10 games. -

Ball can hit the ground as you know. Plus, if the challenge was worded as who possessed the pass, it still could have been overturned if on review they rule that no one caught it (incomplete). 50;50 possession goes to the Offense. Would have been a 1st down (granted, not at the 3) if incomplete anyway because of the penalty on Damar. -
It's the matchups that are the draw. Bills/Ravens, Bills/KC are better views because of the QBs (and the compelling Bills/Chiefs history). There really aren't many Commanders fans nationally. And who is watching the Rams anymore?--no national draw at all, same for Houston. Philly has more of a national following than any of those 3. Bottom line, those are all massive ratings numbers. This is why the NFL is the only really relevant league in this country.

narratives don't win or lose games. anyway, this is good news for everyone, obviously: the Bills, the NFL, the broadcasters, the sponsors.

the guy who holds the ball last caught the ball. give me a guy who continues to fight for a contested ball over the guys who can't hold onto a pass delivered into their hands (and no one others). -
FINAL v3.0 now LIVE on p.15 - Gunner's 2025 Mock Draft
Mr. WEO replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
if Tenn or the Browns have him in the first he's going top 2. If not, the Giants will take him. There is no chance he falls out of the top 5 unless there is some bombshell before the draft. -
that's why his retirement got 2 threads!

not a gadget guy after all..... -
the Bills have paid him roughly $61,000 per snap over 3 years--$70,000 per this season. Missed a bunch of games. in the 4 years before Beane signed him, he averaged 822 snaps per season. For the Bills it has been 329 over 3 seasons. He averaged 11.5 sacks per season for the 10 years before Buffalo. 14 total sacks in 36 games here. He averaged 54 total tackles and over 15 TFL per season before. 17 total since he got to Buffalo. He has to go. Either he is totally shot (likely) or Babich doesn't know what to do with him.

Calls for an investigation on Bills for Christian Benford's concussion
Mr. WEO replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall
24 players comprise about 1%. They don’t care for it. in practices, mandatory except for QB, K,P. -
and?

guys looking for their first HC (especially with so little NFL coaching experience) rarely turn down their first HC offer

Mr. WEO replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall
the obvious answer is that the NGL can now say they are “doing something” about concussions. Also the players overwhelmingly reject this device. That should tell you all you need to know about this silly helmet schmatta -
Remember when everyone was fretting over losing Brady this off season? lol, there's a reason the Saints job is still open...

this "data" the NFL pumps up for this device has been discussed at length in other threads....I'll leave it to you to review. -
every year, midweek after this annual exit, we hear about Beane's clock or hot seat. I don't believe it exists. Pegula is never firing these guys. Great regular seasons goose merch sales, increase national branding and incrementally increase ratings, which is crucial for all owners as network contracts get renegotiated. I really don't think they care about the annual playoff bounce by the Chiefs with these two. The Bills are making more money for their owners than ever 2023 est revenue half a billion dollars). My guess is they would take endless 12+ win seasons with never a SB appearance than hire a new crew and possibly get stuck in 8-9 win purgatory. Keeping them and the status quo is an easy business decision for them. Getting close every year but never winning the AFCC---why Pegula care any more than Rooney or Biscioti. Both are clearly comfortable with winning seasons and inevitable playoff exits. Tomlin won a SB 16 years ago (with a SB roster handed to him). Since his HOF QB left, he has trotted out Mitch Trubisky, Kenny Picket (he drafted this guy), Mason Rudolph....until he settled on Justin Fields, no, wait, Russ Wilson---another one-and-done WC exit! lol. No one cares in that FO! Harbaugh won a SB 12 years ago (seems like a million) he has 2 (3?) time MVP (now Dereck Henry)---yet he's 3-5 since he drafted Lamar. Neither coach is going anywhere. That's the NFL. Fans have a lot of hope and short memories---owners make money off of that. No playoffs again? No SB to cap off a great season? Next year baby!! From "Mr. Rooney" "When you look at how many games Mike has won in this league, you don't win that many games if you're not a good coach," Rooney said, via ESPN's Brooke Pryor. "And I know he's frustrated like we all are in terms of not being able to take that next step, but we still feel good about him being the leader and still think he has the strengths that he always had in terms of being able to lead a team. "The other side of the coin is when you look at the fact that we have six, seven, eight teams a year that turn their coaches over. When you have a good coach, you just try to keep building with them." lol exactly what is Tomlin or Rooney "building" while running their Offense through those bums I listed above over the past 3 seasons? No Steelers fan would believe Rooney here but there's nothing they can do.

Well Elam sucks--huge bust, no argument from me there. I just don't see a different outcome in the game based on one extra, decent CB. they target Taron Johnson
